Site layout/navigating the ‘new’ AW site

The pictures are now starting to show up. Some I copy and pasted (like in the above threads), others (like in other threads not posted here) are linked from photo bucket or imgur.

And to add to the question train, is there a way users can capitalize the first letter of their username like in the old forum? Thank you to Alan for taking the time to read and address all our concerns.

Site layout/navigating the ‘new’ AW site

Here are two examples, including the thread Sean has in mind. Post #8 contains large vacant spaces and where a picture is supposed to be there is a long list of letters and numbers instead: https://automaticwasher.org/threads/resurrection-of-the-whirlpools.98224/ In this thread which had...

    Cold Wash Warm Rinse Cycle

If you manually advance the timer into spray rinse it will give about a 90 to 120 second spray rinse since it is normally a sub-interval step. Sometimes shorter depending how long the timer was in its previous increment before being manually moved forward.

    Cold Wash Warm Rinse Cycle

358277 Mixing Valve Flow Rate Ok, so for the record I timed the warm and cold fills to maximum full on my Speed Queen. Keep in mind my pressure switch is adjusted so the water level goes to the top of the agitator fins.      3:02 for a warm fill to full   4:22 to a cold fill to full   ...

2015 Speed Queen Washer Model AWNE82SP113TW01

The genuine valve is restricted on both the hot and the cold, more so on the hot, as are most knock off valves.       I'm with John, either the pressure in the building is low, the water flow rate in the building is restricted, or you're getting normal fill volume which will be rather anemic...

Worthy of Praise Robert, I am in no way protesting your decision to change forum administration.   I just want to say that if everyone was like me your coding and forum style would dominate, being what the top 3 most popular forum software is today. You would be a multi millionaire and...

What is your favorite washer of all time?

The two belt Raytheons    Followed by the Maytag Dependable Care.     Whirlpool Belt Drive at number three    Whirlpool direct drives with dual action agi at number four   GE Filter Flos at number five       Hoover Keymatic, is another one that could be in my top 5 but I've never used...

2015 Speed Queen Washer Model AWNE82SP113TW01

Fill valves used on Speed Queen top load washer are operated in a binary fashion. They either receive 120 volts 60Hz AC or they get zero volts. Nothing on them is variably modulated by the control board.      A trickle on the hot would be indicative of a clog. Either in the plumbing, the hose...

Being Honest At the cost of being that one seemingly negative, ungrateful person in the crowd...      I hope AW.org doesn't switch to V Bulletin software.       Robert's design and coding is by far, hands down, the best internet discussion forum format I have ever used. Straight forward...

ATTENTION ALL MEMBERS - Please Read This...

Thank you for 25 years of the best website, management and forum software ever created!        Is the current site formatting for AW.org going to stay or will it change to Vbulletin, ect?       Will there be new mods on this site?      I'm just curious, not that there is anything wrong...

    Hot Wash Cold Rinse Cycle?

Perhaps we're mostly thinking about the same thing however we all have different interpretations of the word warm and cold?

    Hot Wash Cold Rinse Cycle?

Robert, please, no rush! This can indeed wait. As is I've got some more research to do on the subject.

    Hot Wash Cold Rinse Cycle?

Robert, I know I owe you a great amount debt already and I've inadvertently let promises slip over the years to which I sincerely apologies.    Would it be to much to ask for pictures of the control panels of your machines that do only cold rinses or have the capability of doing either warm or...

    Hot Wash Cold Rinse Cycle?

Right and right, however I still think modern fabric become to constricted with cold water under 70*F and don't give up the residual detergent so easily.     I think the best approach was taken by Kenmore that regulated warm and cold rinsing to 75 and 70* respectively.
