8 Reasons Using Liquid Detergent Is Better

From that article above... Reading the ingredients on the blue, green and red bottles of Tandil... It looks like the green and red bottles (which cost slightly more) are LOADED with enzymes... but the blue (Purex knockoff) doesn't have a huge ingredient list on the back and mentions nothing...

8 Reasons Using Liquid Detergent Is Better

we have a really nice Costco here.. And 2 Sam's Clubs...One of the Sam's is nice, the other one is really OLD and not as nice as the newer one. There are 3 Aldi's close to me, 2 in Lexington, one in Georgetown... Actually the Georgetown one is probably easiest to get to from my location...

8 Reasons Using Liquid Detergent Is Better

So this detergent is sold in America but not made in America? I think I'm at least going to try it. I might be surprised. There's 2 different Aldi's close to me... but I never shop there.

8 Reasons Using Liquid Detergent Is Better

We have an Aldi here.. I think I've only been there a couple of times and I've never even thought about buying detergent there. I wonder how they can make it like Tide so cheaply? I understand it's a store brand and they don't have to advertise.. but still. Not a big sample size but just a few...

8 Reasons Using Liquid Detergent Is Better

the cycles I use most on my duet... heavy duty/whitest whites... the wash cycle is EXACTLY 20 min's on both of them... I wonder if the wash cycle length on those is based on enzyme detergents...I would guess so. I think I've narrowed it down to Gain with Oxi Liquid (has 4 enzymes) Or Kirkland...

8 Reasons Using Liquid Detergent Is Better

That is so cool to me that they actually take local water conditions into consideration for their formulations... especially a store brand... that's crazy... I had no clue that was even a thing. I wonder if they do the same thing with dishwasher detergents? I will say this.. Normally I get the...

8 Reasons Using Liquid Detergent Is Better

It's funny... Kirkland and Sams Club members mark liquids (at least from reading the sams club members mark ingredients list) has 3 enzymes.. I can't find the ingredients list for the kirkland liquid but I'm guessing it's the same... and yet these are the absolute cheapest detergents price wise...

    Detergents making weird stains

You said machine was only 4 months old... Has this been happening since you got the machine or AFTER that? BTW, I vaguely remember your old Electrolux...I forgot, was it called IQ touch or something? What happened to it?

8 Reasons Using Liquid Detergent Is Better

OK so I'm clear. Tide actually optimizes their formulas differently for local conditions? So if someone in Cali buys Tide and moves to DC...and take their Cali Tide with them, it's not the same tide had they bought Tide in DC? If that's true... I had no clue

Which current front-load washer fills up with the most washer?

From what I've seen online... watching different cycles wash... the LG with turbo wash uses the most water... especially in the rinses... and depending on what cycle you choose...some cycles use more... some less... with the LG's you're always going to see less in the wash itself..vs the rinses...

8 Reasons Using Liquid Detergent Is Better

I think anyone who knows how to do laundry properly... even working with filthy clothes can keep their machine perfectly clean... even if they use cheaper detergents..I mean, I could be wrong... but I don't think I'd blame cheap detergents over the actual user... as almost everyone here knows...

8 Reasons Using Liquid Detergent Is Better

I don't think I'd go THAT FAR....To me, it doesn't look watered down.. and the clothes come out clean with a slight scent. It's not like you're washing clothes with just plain water. I think I may try Gain when I run out because I know it has enzymes.. and I always liked gain. I noticed on...

8 Reasons Using Liquid Detergent Is Better

Purex: The reason I bought it was a video I saw... A lady had like 15 detergents... top shelf to bottom... and she was totally SHOCKED at the performance of the Purex liquid... It got an almost top score... and she was dealing with all the gross stuff... baby vomit, food stains, etc with all her...

8 Reasons Using Liquid Detergent Is Better

Great.. I just recently switched from powder to liquid. I've been going through what's left of my powder and alternating with the liquid I have...but my stash isn't big.. To the comment above: I think it's a false statement that basically all liquids contain enzymes. I was wondering if this...

    Detergent choices

Over the years I've read this vinegar debate over and over... and some will swear it's not bad for the washer while others say it will destroy it... Me? I've used it for 20 years in my washer and it hasn't harmed it.. I mean, Imagine if you put the max amount in... Say, you fill the bleach...

Adjustable water upgrade for Electrolux ELFW7437AW Washer 2024

that's what I do on my duet... if I'm dealing with something really dirty (which isn't often) I run a soak cycle with a full dose of detergent...which doesn't get rinsed... and it still tumbles for a bit, then soaks... then tumbles a bit.. etc...for 20 min's I think then just drains... then I...

    Detergent choices

I'm talking about baking soda as a booster.. not by itself... everything in that article suggested that it's bad to use baking soda and/or vinegar by themselves.

    Detergent choices

do any of you use baking soda with your laundry detergent? I only ask because I found a huge bag of Arm & Hammer baking soda from costco unopened... I've been adding about 1/2 cup in the drum and then my regular detergent in the dispenser... and then vinegar in the rinse dispenser.. I really...

Time for a new front loader...

Also... if you choose a cycle and turbo wash on, but not extra rinse... it does one deep rinse and a spin spray.. Is that the same spin spray that like only lasts 5 seconds or is it longer since extra rinse wasn't chosen?
