    POD/Combo

It came back, didn't it? (Today 11/16/24) There's actually a picture of a refrigerator and either gas or electric or made to resemble both but a range and even a compact vacuum promoting RCA Whirlpool's "other products", of which gets me wondering if RCA Whirlpool ever made vacuums... -- Dave

    queen dishwasher

Well didn't one ask in the Deluxe Forum that if Speed Queen made a dishwasher if anyone would buy? Surely this must give us an example and why the entire idea did not take off very long or why not many are out there, but at least with the numerous ranges made by McGraw/Edison that there are...

    Dixie 20” Electric Range

Yes, I wondered how that political lashing got put into this thread...   (Did there need to be more disapprovals of it being here before my Reporting of it would get that post removed?)       -- Dave [this post was last edited: 11/12/2024-22:12]

    GM Frigidaire 1-18 Gentle Speed

From the looks of the video is it on the gentle cycle? I read that the gentle cycle on one Frigidaire washer had intermittent action, which is what I'd guess there'd be if yours is set on...   Seems that kind of washing action is hard on itself enough that if using it gently preserves its...

What's Your Floorcare Routine? Mop and bucket? Swiffer? Broom?

For tiled floors: We used to have an electric floor scrubber which got to be hard to use because of the dirty water it sucked up having to be drained out and filters in it needing to be cleaned, so no surprise it disappeared having probably, just setting it on the lawn for someone to pick up...

Kenmore washer lid leaning far back

I miss my 'not entirely laying on its left' left-opening lid on my Kenmore that I parted with...   Thing is when it sat around unused with its lid shut for a short time I thought it gained a rather stale odor, making me want to leave the lid open until its smell went away a few short days...

    Washing dishes by hand

To me, owning a dishwasher is just as important as owning a refrigerator, a range, a washer and dryer or any other appliance... And so I'm grateful many homes and people in them as times become ever newer more commonly have and kitchens that may not have had the space to are finally to me...

    Washing dishes by hand

Well our dishwasher washes everything thoroughly and flawlessly so well and so much that I gave all,our liquid dishwashing soap to my dad who washes all his stuff by hand... Our dishwasher even has a small thin rack in the top of of its cabinet for washing such small items so they don't fall...

all original 1970s home set to be demolished

Well seemingly that house is allowed to sit like that with those few furnishings, two appliances and all that carpet, tile, wood and laminate flooring, uninhabited and not that far beyond delaipidated... So why doesn't someone save it? -- Dave

    Anyone longing for the 1970's?

Another real swinging place...!   I'm trying to see more appliance shots and for them to come in clearer...       -- Dave [this post was last edited: 10/16/2024-10:28]

The Great Debate. Gas vs Electric Dryers

My 240-volt outlet is adjacent to where my washer and gas dryer are already installed side by side... So I'd hate to have to carry to and retrieve my laundry from an unnecessary distance... My DC is also the old fashioned 3-wire receptical, somid have to replace it with the newer 4-wire one...

    New in Box...1985 Whirlpool Dryer

Yes funny how that's the price of a new dryer, and a true moisture-sensing automatic to be exact... Would be neat to see how the would-be automatsettings on there work... As well as it seemingly going from high temperatures to low, or is the perm. press a medium temperature? -- Dave
