John do you have a link to where you can buy the plastic style coupler?

    Beautiful KitchenAid washer/dryer set

I'm not seeing any OEM plastic insert couplers. This is all I could find. I was told never use a non OEM coupler.   ...

Motor shaft drilling Glen, that is pretty interesting. I might have to consider that if all else fails.   John, are the plastic couplers still available to purchase? I know the older circular style isn't. I will try that first and see what my results are. Of course, I'll still be on the...

    KitchenAid Motor 3350418 Needed

^ So then in actuality there isn’t really any difference between this motor and the regular 3-speed one?

Round motor shaft Yep, its shot. I was able to hammer the new coupler on like all the way. Obviously this is a temporary fix.

    KitchenAid Motor 3350418 Needed

Rouded out shaft Yes that is exactly the issue I am having.  Oh well. I'm hoping someone has a spare motor I could buy, or I'm just going to have to keep searching eBay.

    KitchenAid Motor 3350418 Needed

Well part of the reason why I purchased this machine was because of the name and high-quality parts. I read that the motor has gold bearings in it and was a step above the standard direct drive motor which is why I prefer to find a Used KitchenAid one. Do you have part number 3350418?

    KitchenAid Motor 3350418 Needed

If anyone happens to have a KitchenAid drive motor, part number 3350418, I would be interested purchasing it. Sadly the shaft on my motor is shot and it will not hold the coupler.     Thank you.

    Beautiful KitchenAid washer/dryer set

Bad news... So apparently the shaft on the motor is bad and the coupler will not stay on. I gently tried to hammer it but it keeps sliding off. The shaft appears to be stripped (not sure how that happened). The worst part is the motor (part number 3350418) is NLA. I have checked and even eBay...

agitator dogs Glenn, what makes you say the noise is related to the agitator dogs?
  11. blockeight88

    Beautiful KitchenAid washer/dryer set

I’m currently using the agitator cam that was the original white agitator as I misplaced the cam that came with my blue one. Perhaps that might be why I’m getting the noise. But I will also ensure the cabinet is on correctly

Suspension Springs are new. Retaining clips are all in place correctly so why would it make any weird clicking noises like that?

Agitator dogs They’re brand new. For some reason I don’t hear the clicking noise on smaller loads

Original transmission Yes it is. I did replace the neutral pack and shaft seal. Perhaps the gears are going bad, I don't know. Here are some pictures of the gear case before I touched anything.

Clicking noise? Did my first load of towels today and noticed a clicking noise with the agitation. I’ve heard this noise before other videos but I’m not sure if it’s normal?

How to clean KitchenAid porcelain stains?

Product Recommendation John, which clear coat brand do you recommend?

    Beautiful KitchenAid washer/dryer set

I didn't realize it has the step spin, so after about a minute and a half, it kicks up to high spin. Its fine.

Step Spin Ok, n/m. I feel really stupid. I didn't wait long enough before it went into high spin. Perks of owning a KitchenAid haha.

    Beautiful KitchenAid washer/dryer set

Waiting for high spin Yes I did. It’s not getting up to high spin unless it slips in the spin from the neutral drain which now that I’ve replaced it never does. I will test more and post some videos demonstrating the issue. I’m convinced it’s either a bad timer or a bad capacitor.

    Beautiful KitchenAid washer/dryer set

Not high spinning Ended up putting the original coupler back on. I'm not sure if this is causing an issue because the machine doesn't want to do a high spin, regardless of where its set at the timer.     Everything sounds good and I triple checked I put everything back correctly.   Edit: It...
