I would not let them haul it away to be crushed. While it's nobel to offer it to the club, sometimes time constraints dictate you offer it to the general public via Craigslist. I'm sure a needy family would gladly pay you to obtain a new to them washer.

You forgot to mention it is set up to use the mini basket system. Even if you don't have the basket, someone can easily obtain one off ebay. Good luck with the sale.

I just used uship to deliver a car to me. I posted my price and the shippers bid on it. All the carriers have feedback ratings and basic insurance. I also got to have my car shipped in an enclosed trailer at new additional cost.

Just remember, excess suds do not cleaner clothes make! Discuss.

Found this for sale locally. It appears to be a GM built Frigidaire dryer in Gas/Coppertone. Even if you don't need a gas dryer, you could use the body to upgrade that rusty one sitting in your garage. I'm sure someone here could use this. [this post was last edited: 12/13/2013-22:08]

After doing further research I have come to the realization that this is more than likely an F&P design. Haier and Electrolux joined forces designing new laundry appliances, add to that the fact that Haier purchased 90% of F&P back in 2012 and it becomes clear where the DNA of this washer came from.
