Recently while watching the latest episodes of Project Runway, I couldn't avoid seeing the latest Commercial for Tide Pods Laundry detergent. Since Tide is a major sponsor of the show it airs at almost every commercial break and I have to say it has to be one of the lamest commercials currently...

Even if you get a new spider it will only do the same as these other 2 did, corrode. Apparently it has to do with stainless steel and aluminum touching together. In my Neptune there are plastic pads that separate the 2 metals.

Yogi, I think one reason the Neptune was able to make the claim of effectively washing such a large load is that the Neptune's staggered paddles move the load side to side in addition to up and over.

Thanks for the quick response and info guys. I was hoping it had a suds saver feature due to all those buttons in the middle section. IIRC, four buttons on the left means warm rinse options? Four on the right means XL capacity? Middle is wash/spin speeds? Still seems like too many buttons...
