Awesome. I may have mentioned it in an earlier thread, but my aunt and uncle had the original 1970 (built later 1969) version of this model. Glad to see you have it up and running again.

For me its the GE PowerShower. My grandparents as well as an aunt and uncle had one during the 70s. My aunt and uncle had theirs in their first house, but my grandparents lived a second story apartment of a two family house. I can't imagine how loud it must have been for the landlords downstairs!

The washer is a 1969 model. I am very intrigued by the escutcheon on the washer. They are white on the 1969 500s, like the right side of this one where you see the 500 written, but this one has a mirrored finish that has been peeling off...to reveal the white underneath. Very interesting...
