An aunt and uncle of mine had the 74 Kenmore in Reply # 14 mated with the 75 All American dryer in Reply # 18. Many happy times were spent watching and listening to them go through their cycles.
I remember seeing these BOL models at Sears back in 1978/1979. I thought it was so cool they had the dark plain tub, and no instructions on the lid interior. Glad to see one of these surface.
Have a good one,

My aunt had that washer in white. I am pretty sure she bought hers sometime in 1974 though. The dryer hers was mated with was the 1975 All American model with the full width door.
The first two Whirlpools I remember ever seeing had the same control panel aesthetics as Jon's 67, but with the small control box like the featured set above. One was my neighbor's, which was a 67 model as it had the short lid handle. The other one was my grandmother's 1966 24 inch with the...
That Kenmore 50 was the same model my father's cousin bought in January/February 1961 with the matching dryer when they moved into their first home after being married. They had the set until the summer/fall of 1976, when a redo of their kitchen (by this time in their 2nd home) inspired them to...
My mother has that exact Maytag. It came with the house my parents bought in 2004, which was previously owned by an elderly woman who moved in with her daughter. The model # is exactly the same, but the serial # is B8382475 with the letters HM to the far right. Based on that, when would this...

My parents bought their Kenmore washer that year, but it was a white console on a white cabinet, like most that were offered at that time. Model number was 110.20902.
Have a good one,

Funny that the home has two washers. My initial thought was that the Whirlpool was a replacement, but they both appear to be hooked up.
Three days left to bid. Hope someone here gets it.
Oh I hope someone nabs this. It i rare that a 1963 Kenmore 600 pops up. The last one I remember seeing was in 2010.
Gordon, if you see this, give it some thought.
Have a good one,

That is a 1969/1970 Match All model. My childhood friend had the exact same dryer mated with a 1970 model 70 series Kenmore. At the age of 5 when I first saw it, I thought the dryer had no knobs until I realized they were under that flip down cover. A cousin of mine also had this style Match...
