    Who makes these dishwashers?

Chinese manufacturer Thought it was Midea, but turns out not. I don't know the name, but 100% they're made in China, and now a list: Gorenje, Indesit comp. 45cm, Candy/Hoover 45cm (+ 1 model 60cm), Bomann, GE, Elin, Midea, Zanussi/Electrolux 45cm (at least on Serbian market), Baumatic, Belling...

    Lazy engineers?!

Even worse feeling... is when you know there can be a lot more done with the same money. That's what buggs me, a higher spin between rinse, or stronger tumble action on the quick wash doesn't cost much! or nothing... or just shape the same amount of plastic in different, better way... don't...

    Vintage wash

In warmer parts of Europe, like all countries on the Balkan peninsula, Italy, Spain etc washing machines sold until early 90s were usually 370-400 rpm. In 90s 500 and 600 rpm appeared, and only washer-dryers had higher spin speed - 800rpm. But there were washer/dryers with 600rpm sold too! Some...

    Lloyds (Electrolux) 825 wahing machine

It is faster You can see that by how fast baffles are going. You can hear it. Let me just tell that this is faster for an Electrolux, but there were some machines (some Indesit models from 90s and Candy 90s-early 00's) that rotated just like that-normally, but not this one! My friend has a...

Gorenje Rex Zanussi As I said, the first machines from Gorenje were done on licence from Rex-Zanussi. That wasn't a rare picture to see in Yugoslavia, as Italian-Yugoslavian collaboration was really good on all fields. So, Gorenje bought a whole project from Zanussi, and just made machines in...

Olimpic 77 rating plate take a look at 550rpm - here it was a superfast spin! compared to today's 1400rpm. Fastest on this market were only Candy washer/dryers with 800rpm at the time, and between washers this was considered as luxury :) No wonder today the best seller in Serbia is 600rpm then :)

Above previewed machines ..were made under the Zanussi-Rex licence (link) in Velenje factory, Yugoslavia (Slovenia today) - where modern Gorenje's are made today aswell. The machines that are going next are first of Gorenje totally made independently :) Here's a preview of vintage gorenje logo :)
