Agitator That POD machine was still the three-straight-veined agitator, right? Malcolm

When I complained... about the cracking lids directly to the manufacturer, Anchor Hocking (I think), they advised never to microwave the lids. I stopped doing it and the cracking lid issue went away. Mine are in the dishwasher constantly. I used them for lunch at work every day. YMMV! Malcolm

Wonder... If the new agitator and current agitator would fit the same drive bell. Might be able to swap the new for a wavy vane. I want to say that the mechanical timer model is gone at the end of the year, too. Yeah, it might be time to buy a 2017 model, if the changes are too dramatic...

Top Pickles The pickles that cook on top of the roast are yummy. The one's that end up in the liquid will usually disintegrate. I do like being able to add my own sauce after the fact rather than having the pork cooked with it. Malcolm

IMO... I would avoid an electronically controlled model. They limit you to a maximum cooking time, and if you lose power for a minute or two, it could remain turned off. It is a simple device and shouldn't require n electronic brain to complete it's task. Just my opinion. Malcolm
