Quite brisk 14 minutes of regular agitation typically seems like too much in my opinion especially being a smaller capacity outfitted with a surgilator.

First spin Bearing sound really good. Tub break needs replacing though. Pretty much free wheels to a stop.

First wash load Big load of towels to test it out.

First videos Got her hooked up and did some testing and cleaning. Actually doing pretty well!

Spare parts I have a couple of spare timers so I’m sure I have a stem. I’ve rebuilt a few of these so if you need help rebuilding I would be happy to assist. Gotta keep these classic machines running!

GE timer repair I’ll have to refresh my memory on how these stems attached but you likely had a retaining washer of sorts break off or get dislodged. I’ve never had that happen but I’ve had to replace shrouds in those timers when the teeth are worn down. It’s totally repairable but is like...

Thanks! Should be a fun little machine. The ‘64 Kenmore and now ‘67 Whirlpool are my two oldest functioning machines. Says a lot about their quality. Never thought I’d see a day when I’d have more Whirlpool-made washers than GE, though!
