    Back In BIZ!

OK---you guys have me thinking I go through shout like there is no tomorrow. I use it mostly to pretreat dark or colored t-shirts because of grease/food splatter stains (yeah, someone in this house is kinda messy when it comes to cooking--AND IT AIN'T ME !!). So, will Biz work on this? It is...

    Whirlpool Washer Brush Lint Filter

Yogi: The pic you posted of the BOL Whirlpool is the machine I Grew up with. My Mom had that exact machine until 1972 when she bought yet another whirpool with still the brush lint filter. I asked her why she didn't get one with a self-cleaning filter and she said "those don't work".

KA Regency Portable DW on Bay Area CL

Actually The Regency did make it into the 18 seriers, but was quickly dropped. I remembered seeing one at a local dealer in the town I grew up in and it wasn't long before it left the store window.

    Sears Detergent

I currently have A 125 load box of the ultra plus with fabric softner if anyone would like it. I paid $15.99 for it and have used maybe 6 loads out of it. I do like it but right now i'm really into All with stainlifters.

    GE Super Racks

I remember seeing this ad and thinking the same thing as peteski50. At the time of this ad my partner at the time and myself had a Maytag. I never had a problem getting the broiler pan to fit in. In fact I never had a problem not getting anything in and being able to load it to the gills and...

well I can't believe that i'm gonna say this, but... I've been using UP for a while and really liked it. I've kepted a bottle of ALL small and mighty in the cabinet for nicer clothes/delicates. Well, last week I decided to see how it would do on regular laundry. WOW--white whites, the...

    When GE went green

I'm so glad you posted this. I remember seeing the GGSM954 in someone's house when I was like 10 but couldn't get close enough to see all the controls. It's been stuck in my mind ever since.

    Sears Ultra Plus

I have to agree...... for me, UP works just as well, if not better, than Tide or any of the higher priced national super market brands. Not to mention my 8yr old Kenmore HE3 seems to love it. Maybe it's just me but I think the washer runs much more smoothly than when using other detergents.

Beware- P&G has changed Ultra Downy "April Fresh" scent.

I've been on a boycott of P&G for sometime now. The price they charge for their products is outragous. Not to mention they keep changing the scents. I've always used and like Gain, but won't buy it anymore just because it's P&G. Ultra Plus with Oxiclean is now my detergent and I use "all"...

Which dishwasher cycle do you use most often & why?

I use "regular wash" on my bosch. On my dishwasher, it automatically sanitizes in every full cycle. I think i've used "Power scrub" twice, "delicate/Eco" once a year when I use the china for holiday meal--never use "rinse/hold". All of the full cycles adjust time, temp, and water usage by...

Sears Ultra Plus With Fabric Softener

Ok, This morning I did a load which consisted of a white king sized cotton woven blanket, a cotton (terry cloth like) bath robe, and two terry cloth like bath mats in the UP with oxiclean. The Blanket gets dirty because of the dogs always jumping up on the bed. I have to say it did an ok job...

Sears Ultra Plus With Fabric Softener

fortech: I KNOW, RIGHT!!!!--I truly was amazed!!! I ment to say earlier that I've always been a Gain fan. Loved the clean and scent I got with Gain. But, Like the rest of the country and trying to make every penny stretch as far as it can, I think my new daily driver is going to be UP...

Sears Ultra Plus With Fabric Softener

I'm using the UP with Oxiclean right now. On Thursday nite, I washed a curtain panel that hangs on one of the sliding glass doors in the breakfast area. This is the door that everyone uses to go out to the patio, INCLUDING THE DOGS!!!! I noticed while making dinner how diry and gross this...

Look VERY closely at the drum.... What's wrong with it?

Well, whirlpool may have finally got it right. I took a look at these the other day when I was at Lowes. The drum is no longer tilted. There are jets in the baffles. However, I have been told that the hot water setting is only between 80-95 degrees.
