    Washer and dryer with "stuff."

There was a washer on ebay UK last year for sale and I'm surprised anyone bought it. I don't think the owners had ever taken a damp cloth to it the whole time they had it plus there was a litter tray right in front of it... Pretty full as well... Nice.

Thank you to all aw members

The way I look at it you wouldn't expect to wash dishes in cold water. They may look clean but you just know they will be crawling in bacteria. Only thing I will wash in cold water are my blue jeans as the colour runs like mad from them but they go in the dryer on high heat

I hear the word "Bob Load" used for loading dishwashers.. What does it mean?

I won't even attempt a bob load in my machine. It barely cleans with half a load in and I've tried every powder and tablet going. It's been like this since the day I bought it. Will never buy another beko dishwasher again.

How often do you run your dishwasher?

Mines run daily and on a Sunday it can be two or three times with the amount of dishes. I do food for parties as well so some weeks it can be on 10 or 12 times. My mate has my old 11 year old hotpoint I had it 9 years and never missed a beat she's got five kids and it's on twice a day and still...

    Modern Hotpoint Query

I had the hotpoint ultima s line and that machine done the same with the rinses and with the timer. As you said it's pointless having one as it kept adding time on to the programme. I gave up with the machine and gave it away after seven weeks and went back to a beko

    Beko WY124854

I got rid of my beko to buy the hotpoint s line washer. Totally regretted it and after five weeks I bought another beko but the 8kg model. They are great machines. As said previous the daily quick wash is brilliant and you can go right up to 90c which takes 91 minutes and the machine uses...

    Hotpoint Aquarius 9926 control knob

Hi mike. I've been after one of these hotpoints for a while now and I'm only down the 62 in Liverpool. How much are you looking at for the machine Robbie

    Hotpoint "Recall"

My five year old dryer is one that's affected and registered it in November last year. Was told I would get a repair this month. I don't want to change it even though I've had the option. It's been a good dryer. As for hotpoint/whirlpool they are going to loose a lot of customers. I said on the...

Not even two years old and it's falling to pieces

Hi guys. As you know I'm a fan of beko washers. Had two. No problems. I can't say the same for their dishwashers. Mine will be two years old this April and it's literally falling to pieces. The adjustable top shelf keeps dropping on one end. Every six or seven washes the machine will just...

Living with a Hotpoint Toploader (UK)

My very first automatic washer was a top loader hotpoint and I loved it. I was only 17 and had my own place and it cost me 45 quid second hand. I lived above a hairdressers and washed their towels daily for them and the machine got them spotless I would have one of these in an instant if I...

Is this a top loading washer/dryer?

Cheer's for the replies. I thought it might of been. I've seen Roberts in action but he had used a clear lid so we could see the action. The reason I was curious as it was on the net and someone was saying it was their first washer/dryer

Is this a top loading washer/dryer?

Hi guys. Was having a few hours to myself and was looking on the net. I came across this machine which I've never seen before and I was wondering if anyone had seen one or used one before. This is my tenth year on AW and I think I remember briefly seeing something about I. Rob

    One great brand fading away

The decent name of hotpoint in my opinion was lost a long time before whirlpool took over

Former Apple Exec & engineer showing Combo Washer/Dryer at CES 2016

It's not a new idea Ariston had a washer dryer in the 80s and the dryer part was vented. I had one. Not sure you could fix a flex pipe on it but it did have a filter on the back of the machine to catch the fluff

Out with hotpoint s line and back with beko

Lol no problems on the rant. At one point I was close to putting a hammer through the hotpoint. Even though it was a 1400 spin it never felt like they had been spun on that speed (when it eventually spun) My mate has the hotpoint now. Five kids so it'll get plenty of use. The main thing I like...

Out with hotpoint s line and back with beko

Hi. Really sorry to hear you've had a bad experience with your beko. I think at the end of the day it's what features you need in a machine. Where as the hotpoint had a lot of features I wouldn't use that often the beko fits my needs. I tend to do quick hot washes which the beko is ideal for me...

Out with hotpoint s line and back with beko

Thanks I just really like how they have added a few little extra things that most people wouldn't even notice except us enthusiasts. Lol. It's just finished back to back loads since this morning as Saturday is wash everything day. Duvets dogs blankets and bed towels etc. So far I'm really happy...

Out with hotpoint s line and back with beko

... The easy care drum. Another thing I like about this machine is the door opens fully which is great for me as it's in an awkward corner of the kitchen
