6 year old Indesit WIB111 mould

Firstly well done for getting six years out of the machine. Most don't make two. I've found the best way to get rid of the mould is to get a brillo pad and fairy liquid and gently rub till it's gone. My brother has the same machine now for five years but only has light use but always does a 60...

Bendix automatic Home Washer MODEL D (511)

congratulations What a lovely machine. I hope you got the parts for it. Bet it's really fun to use. It would be great to see some videos of it when it's up and running. I've never seen one in action.

    Hotpoint Liberator Dryer 1701 re-build

wow!!! What a fantastic job. I love these old hotpoints. I wish I had the patience to do a total refurb to the extent that it practically looks like a new machine. That's a nice pair and as the kids would say... I'm well Jell lol. Thanks for sharing

    Beko WMB81241LW

I use the 20 degree wash for small loads but I press pause button after a few seconds and I have a pipe from the tap and I fill the machine with hot water. In fact I do that a lot with most programmes

    Beko WMB81241LW

Oh one quick thing. If you use the daily wash I always do an extra spin as it only does a short spin on that programme even though it will do the 1400 it's not as long

    Beko WMB81241LW

Just reading this as mine is about to go on spin lol. It's faultless it just does it no problems right up to 1400rpm. I had a hotpoint before which was really fussy and took ages. Needless to say after 10 months and still under warranty it was given away as I hated it. Nearly everyone I know has...

    Beko WMB81241LW

I have the same machine and it's been great. I was the same as older Beko washers had a bad rep. Mine doesn't have that drum but it's been faultless over the past two years with some days being on constant for 12 hours

    Dude, where's my combo?

Would it even be worth getting the spin sorted seeing as it only spins at 200rpm. Wringing the clothes out by hand would prob have more of an effect. Really nice machine but how could they call that a spin?

Buying a new washing machine (Ireland/Europe) need advice..

I've had my Beko two years now without any problems. It's the higher spec one and lots of choice with programmes. You can do a 60degree wash with 1400 spin in 59 minutes. It's quiet and just does load after load with no problems. I've never been a fan of them as they had a bad reputation in the...

    Ebac washing machines

This looks great. I clicked on the design your own machine and I chose features like hot fill. App control so I could use my mobile with it and some other feature and it worked out that it would cost me 530 pounds. How cool would that be to have a machine built to what you really want in a...

Gary Your garden looks amazing. I'm on my fourth year in a new build house and my soil is rubble under the grass and it's bad enough trying to keep use grass alive let alone anything planted. Any tips?

    my new hoover spinarinse

Mathew! Quick question When it's on full speed is it normal for it to make a rattle noise like the frame is shaking? It does get a bit loud and I'm wondering if maybe something needs tightning up or maybe some wd40 on it

    my new hoover spinarinse

Hi Mathew I'm just waiting on an e mail back. The spina has been excellent so far. It's been used 3 times today so far. Water everywhere in the kitchen lol. The kitchen sink can't cope with the amount the machine pumps out so it's fingers on the stop button when I've been rinsing. I've had it...

    my new hoover spinarinse

Hi mike. I will e mail her in the morning. She's in heswall so it's not that far a journey. Didn't realise the toll had gone up through the Mersey tunnels. It's getting a joke the amount they charge... Grr... Greedy Mersey travel lol

    my new hoover spinarinse

Hi mike I could e mail the lady and see if she still has it as I doubt it would be gone as it wasn't listed. Both machines had been in storage for twenty years. The woman and her daughter were Lovely. We were chatting away like we had known each other for years lol. I didn't realise it was the...

Speaking for myself I actually use less than the recommended amount of powder than it says on the box. I don't use concentrate powders or liquids so maybe it looks more than it is plus the average size washing machine now is around 7-9 kg so one would have to use more powder.
