switch for lamp It appears the switch is broken, as it is supposed to be a "push to start, hold 3 sec" type switch. Maybe you can find a replacement at a hardware or big-box store.

120v operation I think the pic showing the plug and outlet is more to illustrate that the dryer can be run on an ordinary (non 240v) outlet rather than recommending a light weight cord. GE and Hotpoint also showed generic 115v cords and outlets in their literature. More to make a point.

Ran across this literature from 1961-62 featuring the Easy-built Westinghouse top loading washer. I guess there were 2 models. Plus they made (or sourced) a matching dryer! The dryer seems to share many of the features on the slant-front dryers. I've never seen one of these in person!

No specific date but Some of my literature shows the Versatronic range offered in 1972, perhaps earlier, but there is no identifying information on the brochures. I suppose if someone know the model year based on the letter in the model number, that might help. Other items in the full-line...
