Superba model Yup, there was a Superba disposer, both batch-feed and continuous. I found mine on eBay, NIB for I think $30. That was back in 1988 and I've taken it with me twice when I moved. It still works great. I did disconnect the batch control as I prefer the continuous operation.

Actually 5 min Very basic builders model. The cycle started when you latched the door.

Wall ovens The wall oven with the window appears to be a JD14X from 1963. Later models, although similar, had a squared-off trim line rather than the "French Provincial" look as shown here. The other oven without a window appears to be a J720 from 1960. Maybe they got it as a close-out.

Westinghouse offered them as well. Westinghouse featured the French-door fridge from 1966-1968. For 1969, they dropped out of the line with all their other bottom freezer fridges. I bet it was the ever popular side-by-side that outsold them.

Sorry Pete It's been so long since I removed a KD-18 motor that I can't picture how. The service manual doesn't give much help in way of reassembly directions either. I imagine someone will chime in sooner or later.

I'm getting rid of a few things I no longer want and I'll give them to anyone that will pay the shipping. A timer knob for a dryer and I think it's a Bendix. An inner door liner for a KD-17 series KitchenAid dishwasher, that's in really good condition with no chips, and a Maytag dishwasher...

top rack I did a little investigating and I only had literature for a previous model, SMP-65. I assume the "M" and "P" designate model year. The M series had 4 different models, with the -85 being top of the line. The -85 was the only one of the 4 models with the "Dual Roll N Load" upper rack...
