Here is the basement GE Triton that started my appreciation for them. Yes it's quicker and uses more water!

NORMAL wash is: W-R-W-R-R-Dry. The normal wash includes a 50 (FIFTY) minute wash! That includes a 30 dry.

The lower wash arm mechanism now includes a self-cleaning filter that is situated on a 45* angle. So far so good. I liked the deep upper rack that has no cut-out or tower. It fits pots and pans. The bottom rack no to much.
