I agree with Bob the guy used way too much detergent, instant suds & water lock. That was not hard to figure out. Most front load washing machines have a Protocall of some sort to eliminate suds lock, whether new or older.

I also use 1/4-1/3 scoop of Miele Ultra White powder on a average use. never had to use more than that. I have and also use all the other Miele Powders, with the same dosage. Never a problem.

Just discovered that there is 2 versions of TideMatic powder, which are on Amazon. 1. TideMatic Topload powder $25.00 2. TideMatic Ultra topload powder $30.00 Both are the same size. (2.2LB) any idea what would be the difference between them?

I checked Mieleusa site, the only powder detergent that does not list zeolite is Ultra White. Sensitive, Ultra color both list zeolite first.

I too have been interested in Tide matic powder. I've known about it for a while, but can't justify paying the price for it, maybe in the future. I've got a good-sized stash to work thru first. A seller on Amazon has it, 1kg for $30.00, has 3 left.

mark, you need to understand that the user used the bedding cycle, which uses a lot more water, just like LG bedding cycle does the same thing. There may be a few minor differences, but the Protocall is the same. You could not give me a Samsung washing machine, I'd take a Electrolux front...
