Tide HE powders, and Sears Advanced Ultra Plus-GREEN BOX is a excellent detergent. Those are all I use.

I agree with you David. Tide Ultra HE with a touch of Downy Liquid, has the original scent of Downy, to me. Why would P&G have the original scent of Downy in Tide and not in the April fresh Downy?
