Dual-Action Agitator Retropia, I believe the higher models had the Dual-Action while the lower models had the Straight-Vane. Though, either will fit a DD machine, so they could be switched around.

Our 1990 machine gives us 50 C (rounded off) for hot. I will NOT wash in water cooler than that for hot.

Laundromats really take the cake. When I go there now and then to wash large comforters, so many seem to be oblivious to them, I have removed screens that are covered with a HUGE layer of lint.

Here's an idea When you reattach the motor, leave the pump off temporarily and turn the motor shaft counterclockwise by hand. If you see the agitator move with your turns, you should be fine.
