Digital KitchenAid in the Quad Cities

The Selectra 21--the very model I've been scrounging for over the last 15 years. As always, too far away and too spendy to go after....would love to know the operating state of the control panel, though....not many working ones are out there. Still, a dream machine of mine!

    Thermador cmt 21 - $50 Minneapolis

These pop up in Phoenix all the time in the $50-$250 price range. I've come across several models from the 70s and 80s out here. Always wanted one. Like John said--pricey when new. They were "THE" thing to have back then. If my kitchen were just 2 feet longer, I'd have one in there already!

TRIO of 70s / 80s Frigidaire 3-door and side by side refrigerators Phoenix

John L. LOL!!! Exactly. While I like the way they look, I never bought one because of the reasons you mentioned. I just can't believe 3 different people out here have them for sale at the same time. Usually maybe one a year shows up on CL out here.

    Cleaning Products You Miss.....

Two standouts for me: Tide Powdered Laundry detergent in the 60s. I sneezed every time I got near the box, but to this day, that smell is what I associate with REALLY clean clothes! We even used it to wash our hands after working on greasy car engines. Johnson Future Acrylic Floor Finish...

    In-Door Ice & Water Dispensers ...

Resourceful, maybe... Joe--I'm that way, I guess--but honestly (for me anyway--others will feel different)...it takes ZERO time out of a day to fill a dozen trays. And they all freeze quick/at the same time vs. that internal maker dropping out a few per hour. But I really, REALLY like having...

    In-Door Ice & Water Dispensers ...

Guess I'm lucky?? This mould issue isn't something that I've ever had, or ever seen before. Of course, water from the door isn't something I even care about--I've not once hooked up a line to any refrigerator I've owned simply because I don't trust the things to not leak or cause problems...

    New Grand Piano

Gary, that's a stunner! One of these days I am going to own one of those...always wanted one for times I want piano in the background and not have to make myself play! I love seeing things like this up here--always interesting to see what alot of other members enjoy outside of appliances! I...

Ivers & Pond Piano for the music fans up here!

Thought I'd share something I have here at home because I know there are a few of us up here who are big fans of old pianos and music in general. This is 1897 Ivers & Pond parlor upright -- one of those brilliant old over-built top quality instruments which will never be seen built again in...

mid-late 60s GE 15cu. ft. Bottom Mount Refrigerator specs TCF-15S

Turquoise GE Refrigerator (bottom mounted freezer) seen on Louie's vintage finds post today. I decided to post the photos from that Craigslist ad here because one image has the factory label inside still. I know how often questions come up regarding actual physical dimensions and interior...

    Good Kitchenaid?

KUDA22 for comparison This is a KUDA22 Architect series model I used to have. Control panel is all metal vs. plastic on the next series 23 in this style. Visually, pretty much the same, though. I kept my series 23 version of this one because it is all black. This white/bisque stuff just...

    Good Kitchenaid?

Mark--the arm is there Just tough to make out due to this rack not having the round "china guard". Arm looks to be plastic type color coded to the rack vs. a steel one. Ralph--In the "Architect" line, I think at least 3 models were in there (I could be wrong). I recall the Superba (have...

    Good Kitchenaid?

Excellent machines. These are from the "Architect" series circa 1993-1996. I have the same unit but top of the line Superba....which means no dial knob--all push button. GREAT cleaners.

VINTAGE GE WORKING Turquoise Refridgerator - $450 (Baldwinsville)

1960 GE I have that same GE Fridge in pink, minus the foot pedal and swing out shelves. It's a 1960 model with slightly smaller cu/ft than the turquoise one...and not a frost proof.

Very nice Wedgewood range, very nice price

That's unbelieveably cheap. I paid about $100 MORE than that back in the 80s for the same one for sale in PS....and everyone said I was nuts to spend that at the time. At least we see now that these things can at least hold their value, if not appreciate somewhat. Few, if any, new ranges will...
