    zanussi history

Hi guys I was wondering if anyone could fill me in on the history of 'the appliance of science' washers and dryers. I'm vaguely familier with washcraft series and a few machines right up to the XC models, but don't really know model numbers, features, dates of production etc. I'm particularly...

Powders vs Liquids vs Tablets vs Gels

Hi guys, hope everyone is keeping well and having plenty of lucky finds!!! Just interested to see what everyones choice was when it comes to using a detergent. I've heard that liquids and gels don't contain any bleaching agents in them, so don't kill much bacteria if used on low temp washes...

Darren Glad you like it! I love the machine also. I am a bit concerned about the odd tumbling though, apparently it's a timer fault, so I don't want to wear it out or damage the timer/ motor by continuing to use it. Any thoughts?

Liam The Zanussi is in great condition. There is a wee patch of rust at the bottom of the machine just. The Hotpoint and Creda are still like new- my mum cares for her appliances quite well. Glad you like! Andrew

    washer/dryer keeps blowing fuse

it washes absolutely fine, but about 2 or 3 minutes into the drying cycle it cuts out and blows the house elecs out and require me to reset the fuse under the stairs for the garage... I might just get an engineer to look at it.
