    Line Drying, I Give Up..

The CC&Rs In My Neighborhood Don't allow clotheslines.  That doesn't stop me.  I have a lightweight aluminum unit that pops in a hole in the ground and disappears very easily.  I don't always line dry, but try to when I can.  I swear the sheets smell sweet all week long when they are hung out. ...

"interesting" set for sale in Rancho Mirage

OMG My partner and I had a place at the Rancho Mirage Country Club. All all top end Whirlpool kitchen. Kept everything except the dishwasher. Put in a KitchenAid 21 Classic. Those were fabulous machines. Who knows? Maybe they are at 16 Kavenish Drive and were mine?

Thanks Everyone - KDI-14 is fixed!

BTW The 17 is resurrected! The bearings went out and I had to have it removed temporarily until Greg could get me a new motor. He did and here is Robert and Greg restoring the 17 to her rightful place after they replaced the pump and motor unit! Still working great.

Thanks Everyone - KDI-14 is fixed!

Thanks Guys! I'll need two rinse agent dispensers. One for the KDI-14 and one to replace the non-functioning one on my KDS-17 in the kitchen. Was hoping this guy has a couple and will check it out. You can see in the back of the lower rack on the 14 the solid Jet Dry. Here is my KDS-17.

Thanks Everyone - KDI-14 is fixed!

Within 24 Hours I had a solution. Greg posted a link to a complete replacement for the detergent dispenser including the cork gasket. Needed to replace the unit. Got the replacement unit from Decatur Illinois. We'll have to go down and see what else this guy has.

Thanks Everyone - KDI-14 is fixed!

Posted about the detergent dispenser on the KDI-14 that wasn't working. Knew I would find a solution here for a part for a 50 year old machine. Here is a pic of the front of the machine.

    Help With A KDI-14

I have sought help with this machine here before and received that help with gratitude.  Got this machine from a kitchen where it wasn't used, but the pump was sheared.  Everyone here helped me convert the drain manifold to a gravity drain and it has worked wonderfully for a number of years.   ...

Time for a Bob Load Thread?

Another Bob Load At Tarantula Arms.  Not sure if this qualifies, but you can load large items in the bottom of the KDS-17 and it all comes out clean.  Thanks for the memories Greg.  I've used one of these since the 70's and learned how to load them.  I have yet to have anything come out not...
