Speed Queen is your best bet. Either control albeit electronic or mechanical. Now, on the BOL Amana, am assuming it washes without water if not water is selected? Have never seen that setting on any machine ever.............

Will "leave you know" that it my be that you have the hot and cold hoses reversed. Try warm wash and see what happens. Do you have a hose slpitter hooked to the two inlet hoses?
