Question about a heat pump condensor fan ....

Thats what I was just gonna ask, post a pic! What is happening that you think the motor is dying if it is still spinning. Does it slow down or stop after awhile? I agree tho stick with the exact same motor and RPM. There are too many things that can get thrown off if the fan spins faster or...

    REALLY BOL Whirlpool Top Loader

I thought the same thing, just put the temps in the timer. I remember seeing a Filter flo at Sears around 1994 that just had the timer knob, and it also only had warm and cold settings.

Phil, what movie was it that your profile pic came from? I remember seeing it when I was little but have no idea what it was.

    SQ water usage

So I was thinking, the 17 gallon tub must be the one used on the coin op machines? I have a brochure from 2004 when the coin op machines was listed as 2.5 cu. ft and the water usage was 33.5 gallons per load. I think it said the tub held 15 or 16 gallons? That seems about right with the...

    Ge GTWN5650FWS top load washer

Its one of the new models. I saw it first in one of the ads one week and went to the website for more info, but it wasn't available.

    SQ water usage

For those of you that have a newer SQ washer, any idea how much water it uses for a large load? I know the specs say 27 gallons or something close to it, but I'm assuming thats for the eco cycle. The only thing I have found was a manual for one of the new Australian models and it states 26.2...

The Inevitable has happened - No more WP agitator washers...

I got to see these models in person for the first time today. I will admit, the agipeller on the Whirlpool machine looked more promising than the smaller version on the Amana's. I still wish we had a video of somebody doing a larger load in one of these to see how it does.

Whirlpool washer help water level ...

Awesome machine, my grandparents had that exact model until they replaced it in 2000. Any idea what year it is from?

    who made the worst dryer

Funny that you all have had such bad experiences with the old GE's and Hotpoints. I've used 2 of them and didn't think they took that long to dry, in fact I thought they were very hot dryers. I do favor Whirlpools more tho. The worst dryer I've used was a Frigidaire stack dryer my grandparents...

Speed Queen AWNE92SP113TW01 Impressions(Sorry Long Post)

I'm so torn on this one. I agree that it would be frustrating to pay that much money on a new machine and it have an issue. With that said the dealer should have just taken the machine back and exchanged it for another one. I find it hard to believe that SQ really made those comments about the...

    SQ vs. other companies

That is true that SQ does stick to the tried and true design, they know what cleans the clothes. I think its kinda funny that they always emphasize a full tub of water for rinse and actual water temps. Does anybody have a link back to that grid thing that shows the requirements for 2015 and...

    SQ vs. other companies

I was just wondering why other companies, like Whirlpool, couldn't make their machines like SQ to meet the energy regulations? How is SQ able to get around the regulations with their Normal Eco cycle, yet still allow for full tub wash and rinses with true HOT water. I understand its because the...

New owner of a 2015 Speed Queen TL washer!

I love that machine. I've watched your videos as well as the ones from Speed Queen and I definitely want to get one. One last question that hasn't been addressed yet, is can you change the water temp once you start the machine? I'm going to assume that you can but just wondered. I like to start...
