Don't see these around very often...

I think this is from 1948. There are a few of these out there in the hands of collectors posted on you tube. First time I have seen one of these on ebay. If I remember correctly, this model is called "The Windsor" and they go for BIG money...

    Old cars vs New cars

. We are driving this 61 Oldsmobile up to Michigan in the morning. I am an antique dealer, now that I am retired, and I have a load of antiques in the trunk. I have a booth in one of the antique malls up in Allen Michigan. The Olds is great to drive at freeway speeds, and even has cruise control.

    Old cars vs New cars

. I have two antique cars. A 1961 Oldsmobile Super 88 Bubbletop, and a 1955 Cadillac Coupe de'Ville. I love having and driving the old cars, however I feel much safer in my 2013 Volvo C70 retractable hardtop. The Volvo handles much better and is much easier to drive. Don't get me wrong. I still...

Wife was stung by the mixmaster

ISO Voice of Music Record Changer

Hey Ralph, It is easy to change this over to stereo. In fact, you may be able to use the cartridge and wiring from the "knock off" changer. V/M does not use a mute switch, so you would not have to worry about that.

1953 Hotpoint combo fridge freezer section not cold

Cold Control photo of a 1948 GE Combo. This is the cold control, for the freezer. The control in the refrigerator is for the fridge temp.Hotpoint and GE were very similar however. I don't know when the updated to one control for both fridge and freezer. I think it was about 1954??? Hope this helps!

    Well...

I would install an electric pump and be done with it. Thats what I have done to any Frigidaire I have ever owned. The pumps on those always leak, sooner than later.
