You're right not to worry, Bosch make brilliant appliances no matter where they are built. We've had numerous Bosch appliances over the last 12 years and only one of those had ever broken. Most of them weren't/aren't even German built! Enjoy the new machine, I don't like washer dryers myself...

I agree Dascot, not really the machines fault if the floor isn't level... It would be interesting if you posted a video, I expect this "screeching" you hear is just the whine of a standard brushed motor.

Not true, as long as a FL uses enough water,it'll do an excellnt job at cleaning. Either that or all us Europeans have dirty clothes.

The Classixx is an excellent machine, my dad has had his 1200 version since December and it's been brilliant, great value, great build quality, quiet and has loads of programmes! I doubt she'll be disappointed. 😊

My Whirlpool (UK front loader) regularly uses levels like that.

About 3,000kw a year here. It's just me and my mum, we live in a new build house, heating, water and hob are gas, everything else electric. I do regular hot washes and we have a lot of lights, but they're all powered by Philips Energy Saving (CFL) bulbs which are really good.

Bosch definately are one of the best, especially seeing most are half the price of the Miele equivelent. I too have had many Bosch appliances in the past 10 years, all but one are still working as they did when new. At my old house (which is now rented), my old Exxcel S Express washing machine...

Oh I see! Can't beat a new matching set of machines! I was so excited when we got the Boschs, never had a matching set before! I love how quiet the washer is! My next machine to replace the whirlpool will have to have an Inverter/Brushells motor!
