Just stick with powder. It's not like the drains are having to be cleared every week...

I use Ariel powder, both bio and colour. They both get out stains and smell lovely. I use around 100ml for a full load.

Probably the new Bosch Logixx washing machine and dryer. I love them! Although the Miele W1 series is growing on me....

You wouldn't like European dryers then... My Bosch condenser takes an hour for a full 7kg load of darks on low heat. That's pretty good for a condenser. I'm afraid you will have to get used to waiting a little longer for your laundry. We have in the UK!

Thanks, it really rinses well, the 6th Sense is great, it detects how dirty the rinse water is, and if necessary adds another rinse or goes to high level (can be higher than this) not bad for a £250 machine! I do love how quiet the Panasonic is though, may next machine will have a silent motor...

That's a pretty good rinse level. My Whirlpool has gone above half way up before though...

How strange. My Bosch cleans well with Finish Quantum and extra rinseaid. And my old Bosch dishwasher which is 11 (about to be scrapped after being damaged beyond repair) has an auto option and that was always fine.

The smell of Ariel powder is delightful. That's one of the reasons I buy it! We've always had ariel and always will, the scent makes me love it even more.mixed with Lenor infusions its laundry heaven!

Mine normally cuts down the time. I guess if you wanted gentle you could reduce the spins speed and stop the programme before it's finished?

henene4, Ive found my whirlpool aborts the programme when pausing on the final spin. I then have to put it on the separate spin cycle, a bit of a pain!
