Leaking transmission I agree. Your transmission is leaking. I once experienced the same problem with my old used GE Medallion (although expected as it was OLD). Even if you open the lid and check, you might not even see droplets of oil... but they will deposit on the fabric during the spin...

My Mom had an RCA (yes... as in the TV, sterio etc...) washer that lasted 20 years (1969-1989). I don't remember she ever had it repaired. Was this a brand of Whirlpool? Does anyone have any history on this brand? If anyone has any pics, please post them... I'd like to go down memory lane.

I recently decided to increase my ZWN432 water level. Tuned the pressure wich screw 1/4 turn a a time to make sure I would make no mistakes... But I had to stop once I reached 3/4 of a turn (the manual says that turning the pressure switch more than 3/4 turn might result in damaging the pressure...

I have a Huebsch TL (SQ). Very satisfied. Great agitation/clothes ciculation. Thought I would reget coughing so much dough on a TL... not anymore!

Nice run I agree, 8 year run on bearings for a machine that is pre 2004 is good. I've heard so many horror stories in my surroudings. Heard of people who have them changed every 2/3 years! If you decide to replace, consider SQ. They offer a 5 year warranty on bearigs and door seal.

Tub cleaning Does anybody have any suggestion of what product I could use to occasionaly wash my stainless steel inner tub? Decided to increase water level. Will keep you posted on how it went once it's done.
