    Coldspot twindoor

My folks also had a 1966 French Door bottom freezer in coppertone with icemaker. French Provincial handles and a nameplate with our last name on it. That refrig lasted 33 years before it quit. Sears repaired the drain trough once, and I replaced the noisy evap fan once. It was an energy hog...

Whirlpool DirectDrives with plastic inner baskets/drums???

There were some Estate and Magic Chef branded washers that had a white plastic tub. Have seen a few....don't think they were produced for long. May have happened after Whirlpool bought Maytag, which owned the Magic Chef brand.

    Kenmore Permanent Press I &II

Use the auto moisture sensing cycle with the extended wrinkle guard (which is an extended air only cycle (no heat). That washer and dryer is the best there ever was for the $$$$.

New old stock parts looking to sell

I have lots of appliance parts that I would like to sell, as I am semi-retired from doing service. Most of what I have are parts for 1970 and on repair parts. Mostly Whirlpool, Maytag, GE, and WCI (not GM frigidaire}. I also have repair manuals for various appliances. Thanks, John Pinto

    SQ New Top Load Washer

TC 5 model with a transmission hands down if you have dirty stinky clothes to clean. Also the GE top load with agitator seems like a logical choice for the $$$. I would avoid top load washers with a wash impeller. Just my 2 cents.

    3/28 PIc of the day

Bendix Duomatic....I just got a May 1960 Consumer Reports magazine testing w/d combos. Surprised to learn that W/P and Lady Kenmore combos were higher rated all around than Bendix, GE and Norge and Easy Combomatic. Maytag combo was rated good. Didn't they recall all the Maytag combos? Who...

    Blomberg Appliances

Hi Ron, Has anyone taken off the front panel to see if one of the suspension springs let go. Does the tub center in the opening when not running? Frigidaire stack units have pretty beefy suspension. John

    Blomberg Appliances

Hi Ron, Kenmore stack....is it Frigidaire made or Whirlpool made? What is the problem? Hope you are well. Also, 2 units stacked, or one unit? John
