    Insinkerator CL-3000

Dishwasher sludge - food residue? Greetings Cristy: My thought is that the sludge could be food residue that for some reason is not being flushed away when the machine drains. Perhaps there is a problem with the pump, or the water level when the machine is running. I am not directly familiar...

Headlight dimmer on the floor with a manual transmission For reply #17... The dimmer switch on older manual transmission American cars was still on the floor, to the left of the clutch pedal. If you needed to dim the lights and depress the clutch, you likely had to do one at a time. My dad's...

New Old Stock - Kitchenaid KD-12P - first steps?

Re-oil the motor(s)? Just a quick thought: What a great find! Should the motor(s) on this dishwasher be taken apart and oiled before use? I am just wondering if the original oil in the bearings and felt wicks would still be OK after all of this time. Andrew S.

KitchenAid KUDM25 pump ingested broken glass - pump ruined?

Pump rebuild complete; post mortem and thank you! The rebuild of the pump was a success after dealing with a major hurdle. Upon disassembly, I found a lot of broken glass inside which had really torn everything up. There were gouges in everything that was plastic/phenolic and the metal parts...
