Might be 2.9 CF - but no more than that I know that the last Maytag "Dependable Care" models (through 2006) were rated at 2.9 CF - and were "Large capacity" machines.  As a result, the most that an A512 could be is 2.9 CF because I don't think any of the "true" 1966 - 2006 Maytags were ever...

Lower front panel If I were the person who gets it, I would try hard to track down where it came from to see if I could locate the missing front panel.  That may be nearly impossible to find elsewhere unless another whole machine turns up.

Water inlet valve screens Check the water inlet valve screens (under the hose connections inside of the valve.)  These often get clogged up and can reduce flow to a trickle very easily.  Removing them and soaking them in white vinegar or CLR should clean them up.   Andrew S.

Maytag dryer service Nice looking dryer! If you do decide to keep it, you should take the cabinet off and clean/vacuum the insides and lubricate any moving parts. 50-year-old oil and grease dries up and turns to the consistency of varnish and peanut butter. Lint and dust are not good inside...
