    kenmore 22352 clothes washer

Good to hear. Glad it works well for you. Honestly I don't think that today's machines are as bad as people say they are. It all depends on how they are used. I'd be interested in seeing a video of how your machine washes to compare.

What do people think of the new Persil available in USA?

I tried it. Tried Persil liquid last year. It cleaned fine, but I personally could not stand the smell. I prefer something with a "normal" scent like Tide or Arm & Hammer.

    Coffee makers over the years

I recently picked up an 80s model GE space maker like my grandparents used to have. Works just fine and brings back memories.

    New Whirlpool offerings

They're finally appearing in stores. The low end model is availible for roughly $400.

It just feels cheap.. New Ge profile range

They're all the same. We have a Whirlpool and it's not much different. Same goes for the Frigidaire's. I think they're fine.

    Yellow Whirlpool Washer.... Help ID

They look like a nice set! Wish I had room for them. I always liked belt drive Whirlpool's - we had one for a while when I was a kid. From what I can remember it also spun slow, much slower than our Maytag did. I'd grab it if I were you. Don't forget the videos.

    What happened to Frigidaire?

I always see ads for their kitchen appliances, but it seems like their laundry appliances have fallen off the face of the earth. They haven't updated their line in a long time. Local stores don't even carry them. What's going on here??

    Tide HE Turbo

I'll give cheer a shot too.

New! Speed Queen v. LG: nagging questions

I have to agree with the rest. Although I use a Whirlpool VMW top loader, it is due to budget reasons. If you want a truly old school wash, the Speed Queens are the only ones that do it right. The rest compromise for a lower price. However, I think you'd to be dead set on a top loader to buy a...

Installing multiple washers to one supply setup

I don't think those T-valves will stress the fittings much if any. They are soldered. The real issue seems to be the drain. You might want to run another stand pipe to the second machine for a more permanent solution.

    Tide HE Turbo

Arm and hammer does decent on our daily clothes, but I have noticed a difference with Tide on those cleaning towels. I'll probably keep a bottle of Tide on hand for work clothes etc. I have yet to try Gain though, that might be my next purchase.

    New Whirlpool offerings

That sounds like it would be a great machine. We used to own an oasis with the agitator, and it was great. If only I was an engineer at Whirlpool...

    Tide HE Turbo

Let me start by saying that I normally wash cleaning rags in liquid Arm and Hammer on a heavy duty cycle using hot water. They come out "clean", but never the same as they once were. Thus, many of them are trashed. Today I tried washing them on a normal cycle, hot water with some Tide HE Turbo...

    New Whirlpool offerings

Whirlpool played their cards right... They (re)released these two models just as GE phased out their Hydrowave models. Now Whirly is the only brand selling a true agitator washer other than SQ. Great way to grab all the market share!! This makes me wonder if GE will put out another agitator...

    New Whirlpool offerings

According to the Whirlpool access site... ...there is another model, wtw4816fw. It offers the current VMW control panel with the round knobs with the traditional two piece corkscrew agitator like the 4616. Is this a new model as well? The model nomenclature makes me think so.

    New addition to GE lineup

So in essence these machines aren't as mechanically similar as they appear?

    New Whirlpool offerings

They seem pretty quiet to me. Although it's hard to tell over the dryer in the background, if you listen closely it sounds like a quiet cabrio. http://https//youtu.be/hq8YtRJIr0Q

What is this vmax machine you speak of?

    New addition to GE lineup

I do like that smooth tub much better. Looks much more upscale than the bling tub. But that agitator looks cheap! Should've made a true one piece...

    New Whirlpool offerings

I do agree about the GE's flexibility. Seems like they are letting the user choose exactly how they want their machine to wash, vs whirlpool's forced settings (IE no add water setting). Much better wash programming. I wish GE's physical quality was up to par with WP. They seem to be a step...
