Here you go, Don. Sorry it's not a better picture. The markings on our stovetop don't seem to be as pronounced as on the other one. And, I kept getting a lot of reflections and stuff. Please ignore the fact that it needs cleaning!

The burner layout is essentially identical to our GE. And, ours has a GE logo in the same location as that "C1" logo. The style of the handles is different, as is the layout of the control panel. But, could it be something made by GE for the Canadian market? Barry

I'm thinking that the next time I go over, especially if I know I'll be doing laundry, I'll probably bring supplies from home with me; as well as some of the additives that have been suggested here.

I'm doing the laundry at their house, using their products, and I don't do it all the time, so I'm not 100% sure I remember. But, I believe it was Gain liquid.
