Frigidaire washer model WC -- free

Glenn, I sent you an email about the shipping. It would definitely be a good project and wouldn't take much to get back in service again.

Frigidaire washer model WC -- free

Come on, let's go folks! Someone save it! There's bound to be someone who wants this, it's a FRIGIDAIRE after all. I paid $100 for mine and it was in a lot worse cosmetic shape than this, not to mention the bad spin seal, and I still have it. I thought free finds were supposed to be...

    File Upload and Share Services

For a while, there were videos posted on a separate video server for AW.org, however, in that case you had to email the video itself to Robert so he could upload it to the server. Sometimes these videos were larger than the account file size limit would allow. That, combined with the fact that...

    New Timer Motor

Bob, congratulations, and even better that it works! How does the mechanism, etc. look underneath and how is the condition of the agitator? Good luck on sending the timer off...I heard they do great work. P.S. Glenn, you should think about sending your WO-65 timer there if the spare I have...

    Software Collectors

Cory, are you looking? For a while I had quite a bundle of old MS-DOS and Windows 3.0+ software for my vintage computers...Works 1.05, Windows 1.01 (from 1985!) among them. Sold the majority of it on eBay along with my remaining computers (IBM 5150, "Austin" brand 486DX, 1987 IBM PS/2). Some of...

    Virginia Tech. Massacre

I saw the breaking news that 3 Virginia Tech students were killed in a shooting yesterday morning around 9:00 and it was a complete shock when we turned on the news in shop class that afternoon. I feel for the students and families of those whose lives were taken. I'm still wondering what the...

    And Now That It's Home......

All of this talk about A906s lately As well as using Glenn's last October, has me wanting one even more. If one can surface 2 hours away from me, there's bound to be another lurking somewhere! Of course I'd have to add a Bob-load button, just for fun ;-)

Frigidaire washer model WC -- free

Sounds like a bad spin seal which is STILL AVAILABLE ON REPAIRCLINIC. As for the procedure itself, it's not the most easy task to do if the machine doesn't want to cooperate (the tub nut can sometimes be a bitch to remove), but by no means the most difficult. IT IS DEFINITELY WORTH REPAIRING...

    Which model dishwasher is this?

Peter, where are you? I know this model is in my Frigidaire parts manuals, and I know I hung onto the dishwasher stuff...will dig into them and check this afternoon. As for the interior, could this one have had the Silver-Shower type spray arm? To my untrained eye it looks too new to be a...

    Maytag Question

I believe it is 160 or thereabouts on Normal speed. A tad bit slower than a DD Whirly-Kenmore, which is 180.

Top ten things we never thought we'd find in Tucson

Also... Since it's not a disposable T-frame, could you possibly take the motor to a motor shop to be rewound instead of replacing it?
