...and my new Zanussi washer is here!

Also, I was just wondering, is my washer made in Italy? My dryer is, as it said Zanussi-Electrolux Porcia on the installation tips sheet and it said "Made in Italy" on the polystyrene top.

...and my new Zanussi washer is here!

I know it's a shame, but as I live in a terraced house there is almost no storage space apart from a full shed, and I couldn't even find a cover! Plus, it is so quiet, you cannot hear it in the same room! My only complaints are that there are no progress indicators and the softener compartment...

No I do not! Unfortunately, I chucked it out due to my stupidity. I have posted a link to one. http://www.electrolux-ui.com/2003/132/994370EN.pdf

Is this the part you need?

Alright, here it is standing outside in the cold. Unfortunately, none of the parts are worth keeping.

It's most likely going to the scrap men, as most of the parts are too expensive to replace. I might also strip it down for the useful parts.

The motor is super quiet, even quieter than my nana's Hotpoint, which has a "super silent" sticker on it. It does not have a constant whining either. A prewash takes 1 HOUR and it doubles the time of the Super Quick cycle. It has two extra rinses and two rinse holds, which is unnecessary.

...and my new Zanussi washer is here!

Hi, Yesterday, my ordered Zanussi ZWH7162J came. It has a 7kg capacity, a 1600rpm spin speed and is made in Italy. All the washes I have done in it have worked all right, and the results are superb, even on the Super Quick cycle, which is the cycle I will use most often. Questions are welcome...

    Zanussi error E28

The reason I didn't order from John Lewis was because they are not delivering until Boxing Day, and I need a washer since I don't have a collection. My old washer was the last in the FJD series before the ZWC/ZWH/ZWG series, which I am proud of. I will have to persuade my parents to let me keep...

    Zanussi error E28

Hi FL1012, Sorry for the late reply, but I have ordered its replacement, which is coming tomorrow! http://www.appliancedeals.co.uk/product/ZWH7162J-Zanussi-Washing-Machine-White-23450.aspx

The last designs il post on here..i bet everyone is tired of them now.

Qualin, The Night Wash option is a rinse hold, the Outdoor Sports option is a 30 minute soak, and the Super Rinse button adds more water in the rinses plus an extra rinse.

    Zanussi error E28

Hello all, My Zanussi FJD1266W is nearing replacement, because of broken bearings/pump, and because of its age. Today it showed up with an error code E28 just before the spin. Can you identify what it is? It uses an Electrolux PCB, if you are interested.

Haxisfan, Finally, you have helped me find out what the AA40 option does on my Zanussi, as the manual does not explain it very well. My Zanussi FJD1266W, I think, is very hard to use for people who are new to use a washing machine, as it uses buttons instead of knobs. What I find frustrating is...

The Case of the stolen Creda...

I feel really sorry for you, Jacob. At least some scrap men in this area actually knock on your door and ask if they could take away your scrap, like what they did with my old Zanussi dryer.

    Number of Rinses Indesit IWD5123

My Zanussi FJD1266W does three short rinses (I think) and if you turn on Super Rinse, it makes the rinses longer.

    A new Zanussi dryer...

I wonder if the Cooling cycle harks back to the Zanussi TC491D, which had a Dryel cycle (as far as I know, Dryel is not sold in the UK anymore.) The TC491D is basically a TC481W with Dryel branding on the control panel. It also has a nice refresh cycle, which you can use to warm up clothes.
