    Does Hotpoint Anti-stain Really Work?

hoover1100 Bet you've never washed 20 stains in one wash, all extremely ground and dried in have you? I'm not talking about every day stains like mud, sweat, deodorant, bit of food, bit of (Brown) stuff out your bum. I'm talking about Oranges, Red Wine, Chocolate, Butter, Grease, Car Oil...

    Does Hotpoint Anti-stain Really Work?

Well as you all probably know by now, sadly the WM31 is no longer living here, due to an uneconomical repair it was sold on to a new person, who has apparently done it up, using parts from another WM31! (who knows maybe on Ebay one day, or maybe its been on Ebay already?) I now own a Hotpoint...

And they've arrived in the UK (well 2 have anyway), Finally

Thanks for all the Comments :) weren't expecting so many As far as I am aware its just in a handfull of local retailers, hasn't made it to Curry's, Argos, Ao.com etc yet. It might be launched properly next year - when the models change (they could introduce a 1600 version too), usually...

And they've arrived in the UK (well 2 have anyway), Finally

No, not talking about the new Mieles here I'm talking about the Bosch Range I've been waiting for - the Home professional. Finally the machine which I love, and its matching dryer have finally launched in the UK, and thought I would tell you all - Ok a simplified Miele, maybe, but very good...

    New miele washer and dryer

Surprised Bosch in the states are still using a brushed motor, everywhere else they're all brushless (all WAS, all WAY, select WAP models anyway). Surprised none of you lot of purchased a new Miele yet, interested to see more videos, and in better quality too.

    New miele washer and dryer

chestermikeuk I read that Pre-iron is completely different to steam in that it heats the drum up, and then you add the clothes to the machine, something to do with the bigger hexagons, the hold heat better, something like that. But I guess it could, as you say, be like Hotpoint's/electrolux's...

New energy star washers - good or bad?

Candoo, You can purchase new Maytag top Load washers with Deepwash option, which will "Wash the Old Way" But yes, nothing really goes as good as the old top load machines. Here in Europe, only 1 cycle (well 2) have to be designed for the energy label, all the others can use as much water, as...

New energy star washers - good or bad?

On the new Energy label, that's been around for a few years now - Wash Performance is NOT included. This is because all machines have to wash at A rating - Its just like the law that all machines must have 20C. On the old label, yes Wash performance was included on the scale. Only spin...

New energy star washers - good or bad?

Europe Here in Europe - all machines have to have the following features. Based on the lowest energy consuming programme, as stated by manufacturer: Wash at at least A Class Wash results, at both full & Partial load on 60 and 40C - energy is calculated over the year and then a rating is given...

    New miele washer and dryer

Looks amazing IFA starts tomorrow, so I guess even more pics? Hopefully we can see it working too. 2014?? Thats a while to wait, but hopefully the date will be brought forward, especially if there's a lot of interest at IFA. Hopefully some Youtubers will be able to Upload vids of the new...

    Hotpoint Teardown

Sadly ariston 4 life, the bearings in this machine are non remove-able. The drum cannot be removed, as the tub is sealed together. The front doesn't come off - even though It looks like it can, that's the reason for the repair man replacing the whole tub assembly, and not just simply replacing...

    Ariston Dryers

do you mean Post 2000, ie more recently? I'm sure there were a few available, not sure we had any in the UK, as Indesit Company made Creda Dryers instead, alongside the Hotpoint Machines.

    Hotpoint Teardown

Why such a huge load of Synthetics?? Also why Towels only on 40? I try wash mine at at least 60C. A great breakdown of the machine, It looks to me like the actual side panels of the machine are fixed, and only the Top can be removed? Not sure about the plastic pulley either, but I guess its...

So you think you're washing at 60 degrees?

HE7L492 - my new Hotpoint washer I notice choosing Superwash, or Time save options it heats to 60C on prog3 (Cottons standard 60), however not pressing options it heats up less (around 50ish), even if the temp dial is on 60. adjusting the temp ie higher or lower, does give an actual temp...

    Hotpoint Troubles

I just got a HE7L492 - from the new range - just the old square door styling. I must say its amazing, very quiet, does a really good job, tumbles are so good and wash times are OK. I hope mine lasts longer than 8 months, but If it hasn't lasted too long already, why choose the same brand again...

    Elba washing machine

Firstly, so are these made by Indesit - or not. Secondly is this machine quite new? If this machine is new, then why don't Indesit use that drum in all the other models, looks far more solid, and would probably remove the exploding risk?

    New miele washer and dryer

Yes, thats more like what I expected from Miele. Hopefully its in the new design, I guess it is from the title page (drum back is the new one)! Also looks like you can plumb it into Rain Water, and possibly sea water too? Thats good. Plus nice, its got the big display!!

    New miele washer and dryer

There is a Pre-wash for cotton Laundry only it seems. Page 90 translates as Cottons Pre-wash Duration, as opposed to Pre-wash duration, on previous Miele's. There is no Pre-wash option, or Soak Option either on these, which is a shame. I don't think many people use Pre-wash these days. The wash...
