I have them! After a long saga, I was able to connect with the seller and picked them up today. Pics to follow but they have quite a bit of rust. The dryer drum and base don't look so good. The washer may have rust begining to form inside the tub, but I'll be able to tell better when I clean...

String of bad luck... Apparently when I e-mailed the seller earlier tonight, someone JUST put down a deposit and is allegedly picking it up next week! If the sale does not go through for some reason, the seller agreed to contact me. That's 2 awesome machines scooped out from under me. Grrr.

Pic 2: See the "dent" I am referring to under the bottom roller, in the middle? Or am I imagining things?

I noticed this wringer for sale locally in my area and was wondering what everyone's thoughts were on price and condition. Current price is $125 or best offer. Does the metal underneath the bottom roller, in the middle, look like it is pushed up at all? You will see better in the 2nd picture.

Still no reply... Did anyone here make him an offer and/or heard back from him. I heard nothing, so I am assuming I may have lost this set. If anyone can give me info, that would be great.

They're mine!! The seller finally got back to me today and said he has accepted my offer! We are setting up a day early this week for me to go get them, perhaps tomorrow morning. I am so excited and even more excited that it is gas. I may have to swap a set out to use it now or run more gas lol.

Working on it still... The set hadn't been scrapped but the seller is slow to respond. I offered for the set and he is probably not going to get back to me until tonight since he is working today. Apparently he had two other offers but they didn't return his email. I'm hoping whoever it is...

Magic Lint Filter? I'm going to say that's the self-cleaning lint filter for the washer. I was curious myself.

You may be right about that The fill flume is right above the filter ring right in the same place you see the water waterfall out. I didn't realize that the pump could have so much force as to backwash that far up and over the ring. To that end, what's the point of a filter ring with no...

Recirculation Filter? Not sure what the quick waterfall is every time I start the machine with a tub full of water. Anyone know what it is? The only thing there is the fill flume and the incoming water looks nothing like that when filling. Don't see any other hoses either. Pump has one hose...
