    New Washer

Her hot water is very very hot and the washing machine is located about 4 feet from the water heater. She does not want or need a machine with steam...just something that is going to be reliable and relatively easy to use. Like I said, she is very electronically challenged...she has trouble...

    New Washer

A friend of mine just had her top loader die on her this morning. It is more than 20 years old (she doesn't even remember the brand but definitely not Maytag) so she is looking for a replacement. She is electronically challenged so the controls needs to be easy to use. I'm thinking she should...

    Sunbeam Coffeemaster

I used dishwasher detergent and ran the pot through a brew cycle. Wow, it worked great! The water was disgustingly dirty afterwards...and I thought the pot was clean! Will see tomorrow if I notice a difference in the coffee taste. Gary

    Sunbeam Coffeemaster

THanks everyone for the responses. I would never have thought to use dishwasher detergent or Oxy-clean....I will give it a try. I did make a pot of coffee this morning...turned out not too bad. I used 8 cups water and 4 tbsps. coffee. It took about 15 min. to perc. I didn't know that paper...

    Sunbeam Coffeemaster

I received this percolator from my bf today. Can anyone tell me what year it would have been made? Is the basket supposed to have a top? How much coffee should I use per cup of coffee? Thanks Gary

Is it time for an AMKRAYO-Tag?

Actually if you look at the connector on the end of the hose...it is not for a Rainbow.

who remembers the washer dryer set there grandmother own when alive or still alive

My grandmother had a wringer washer...I don't know what make it was. It had 4 legs but definitely not a Maytag. There was no electric pump...it drained by gravity. She did not have a clothes dryer. Then when my mom got her Maytag automatic washer in the mid 60s, she gave her wringer washer...

Beverly Hillbillies Mansion sold for record amount

Ralph, If you look closely at the pic, you can see the circular (or more rectangular) shaped driveway...there are trees running alongside. Gary

So a TOASTER has been on my mind

I had a KitchenAid auto lower/raise toaster....it was the worst toaster I have ever had. It took a long time to toast (if you can call it that). The toast came out very unevenly toasted and was hard as a rock. Gary

    Eureka Roto-Matic Power Team Vacuum

If the hose fits into the exhaust port then yes it can blow.

    Eureka Roto-Matic Power Team Vacuum

The notch allows for airflow. If there was no notch, and the end of the crevice tool sealed tight to the surface....there would be no air flow and consequently no suction.

    Eureka Roto-Matic Power Team Vacuum

If you are going to use the vacuum regularly you could always buy another set of 2 straight wands...from a vac dealer, ebay, etc.

    Eureka Roto-Matic Power Team Vacuum

Tomturbomatic, The floor brush in the pic already has the angled connector so a curved lower wand is not required. Gary

    Eureka Roto-Matic Power Team Vacuum

Ralph, Thanks for the pics. The vac looks to be in decent shape and the power head seems to have had little use. The floor brush looks scuffed up. Any vac shop would be able to provide you with a replacement generic floor brush as the wands are standard size. This rotomatic was the bottom of...
