    Ecover Biological & Colour Liquids

Will have to get some then when I'm next out. Using Ecozone too which I find good. I haven't used top brands such as Ariel since August last year and wouldn't go back to them either. Your just paying for the name I think.

    Ecover Biological & Colour Liquids

I have used the Ecover bio liquid and can confirm it does wash well and also rinses well out of clothing. I only buy it if it is on special offer though. Sainsbury's had it on offer for £6 earlier this year for 42 washes.

    Fat stains on woollen clothing

What detergent is best for getting out fat stains on cashmere woollen clothing? Tried the Ecover Wool mark approved detergent and was useless. Anything else I can use? Should I buy a branded detergent or just supermarket own version for this? Need something powerful without wrecking jumper and...

Good news for me it's Vegetarian. Does it smell like Persil non BIOLOGICAL?

    Vinegar as a "softener"

Have never used FS even in my hard water and clothes always soft. Another unnecessary concoction of synthetic chemicals in my opinion.

@warmsecondrinse would you say Apple computers and phones were better for Privacy than Google?

Privacy @tomturbomatic I'm in the UK but none the less I take privacy very seriously like yourself. Would be interested to know which email provider you use and what computer. Do you use Chrome book or Windows or are you an Apple user?

    Cloud Ready Printers

Hello, To anyone who has a chrome book, can you recommend a cloud ready printer? Price range up to £50 Currently got mine connected but I didn't realise you had to have it connected to a windows computer whilst wanting to print. Where can I get one from? Not Curry's as had awful customer...

Laundry detergent enzymes & skin irritation

@Chestermike Is the Aries you say that rinses well the powder or liquid version? I am using up a big box of Dan and have to say the cleaning is poor and it foams too much so won't buy again.

    Amway Sa8 Liquid

Oh right thanks for correcting me Laundress on Optical brighteners. I always thought they were bad for coloured clothing and never got rinsed off but I come to think of it we must of had optical brighteners in the UK anyway since the 80s I believe? Colour care was only an option early to mid 90s.

    Google 2 Factor Verification

Thanks to you both for your replies. Seeing as we are talking about Email, how do you rate GMX email compared to Outlook or Gmail?

Laundry detergent enzymes & skin irritation

I am allergic to Sodium laureth sulfate and most mainstream toiletries so avoid them. However unless you come into contact with the neat detergent or the perfumes are too over bearing then proper thorough rinsing should remove the majority of detergent. I do think the likes of Procter and Gamble...

    Google 2 Factor Verification

Does anyone use Google two factor verification to keep their email account? Isn't it supposed to be more secure than using a recovery secondary email?

    Amway Sa8 Liquid

Have you tried the Seventh Generation yourself? In comparison to Ariel is it any good?

    Amway Sa8 Liquid

In that case Marks and Spencers detergents should be high quality as they are Mcbride products. Any own brands you recommend avoiding? Has anyone tried the Ecozone detergents?
  19. L

    Amway Sa8 Liquid

Hello Paul, I'm interested in the Seventh Generation in particular because it has no brightening agents so better for coloured clothing. Hopefully my Tesco will stock it otherwise can order online from Tesco Direct. Personal preference I don't like optical brighteners simply because they are...

    Amway Sa8 Liquid

@rolls_rapide Do you think Robert Mcbride makes good quality detergents? I know they make them for Sainsburys and Marks and Spencer. Wouldn't think either those companies would have a supplier who produces naff products. I've never tried Surcare but a lot of people with perfume allergies swear...
