Congrats, I recently picked up an A512 as well. It is similar to yours but with the 1-speed motor. I've been using HE detergent because I have quite a bit left from my Kenmore front loader days.

One thing I really like about this dryer is the cool down cycle during the last 5 minutes of drying time, I don't think any of my previous dryers had this feature.
