    Vintage Lewyt vacuum question

My Mom is conducting an estate sale in Sun City, AZ in a week or two. She found these vac pieces among a lot of other stuff. Really great vintage clocks, glassware, guns, etc. It's only a 1650 sq ft duplex but was packed! "LEWYT'S 2-IN-1 NOZZLE" and the 2 piece wand attachment She doesn't...

    What is this?

Found on Craigslist. Can't see the name on here but figured you guys would know what it was. Can't pick it up (no vehicle that can hold it) but can store it for a short period in my garage for you. http://racine.craigslist.org/app/1331825177.html

Max Burton 6000 Series Induction Cooktop

Thanks! I was thinking of getting her this and a new set of insuction cookware. She is from Taiwan and makes the most fabulous food when we go visit her! I was hoping that the induction cooktop would help stop the kitchen from getting so hot in the summer. They hate to turn on the AC and only...

    Poppin' Easy

Cool! That's cool! I have never seen one of those and I am an AVID thrift store shopper. :-) It is worth getting out to use for a bowl of popcorn? How about using it for corn on the cob?

    Poppin' Easy

Final result Lightly coated in 'real" butter with a little salt. Made several bags to take with us to Lake Michigan for the 4th of July Fireworks. Beats paying $3/bag down there for some. This was MUCH tastier.

    Poppin' Easy

My favorite popper Here is one of my favorite vintage eletric poppers. Lid has a crank and when you hear the first 'pops', you start to turn the handle slowly. Works perfectly everytime. Also used a local farmer's popcorn which popped up really well, hardly any kernals left.

    Picture thread Summer 2009 II

Family Pic This was taken at the traveling Titanic Exhibit that my husband's company (Country Financial) sponsered in Illinois last month. It was a great exhibit and very interesting. The person standing with us is acting as the captain of the Titanic but in reality, he is a scientist who...

"Finish" Jet - Dry is THIN!!

Mine too-leaking from the input. It's been happening about the last 3 times I have purchased a bottle. Refilling the machine happens much more frequently as well. Haven't bothered to try a different brand though. Maybe next time (the light's on again already-UGH).

    Mountain Dew & Pepsi Throwback

Pepsi Throwback Love it and hope that they decide to keep it. We are trying to stay away from HFCS when we can, just seems to be in almost everything nowadays. We finally found white bread that did not have in it-wasn't easy to find!
