    Eek a solid element

Those burners were horrible. When building her new home in 1993 mom chose a Frigidaire range with these burners. Canning was nearly impossible. She had it until 2007 when I bought her a new smoothtop Kenmore. Our neighbors down the road had a Maytag with the same burners, theirs was a few years...

About cars... Am I THAT old?

I learned to drive grandpas 79 GMC Sierra that had a 3 on the tree Manual transmission, I found it fairly enjoyable. However I couldn’t get the hang of dads 95 F-150 with 5 speed floor shift manual. I’ve not much worried about the difficulty driving manual, as I’m not a sports/small car or truck...

    New Refrigerator Recommendations.

Not sure how helpful this is, I have a newer GE that is just over 5 years old and hasn’t been any trouble, it was made prior to the Haier takeover. As for quality, I’m assuming it’s pretty much a crap shoot on what you get with quality these days regardless of the brand. I would however stay...

    KitchenAid Mixer Help Needed

Getting ready for a cabbage roll dinner at church for tomorrow. Pulled out their early 60s KitchenAid K-5-A. I ended up finding the paddle is stuck on the shaft, and doesn’t budge when trying to remove it. Does anyone have any suggestions for trying to get the paddle off?

My favorite school foods would have been pizza burger day. Pizza burgers were a recipe created by Mrs. Peterson in the 59s or 60s.
