my fix for the waterfall filter hose Used JB Weld to glue on an adapter for 3/4 inch hose and used heater hose. Works great!

even the basket was nearly rust free And the tub. Almost no rust to speak of!

For about six years I've had this 61 Kenmore set waiting to be done. Paid $15 apiece for them. Amazing condition except for the center post, naturally. Had a new post pressed in and presto!

How can you tell the old style spin cam bar from the fast break? My '61 has a riveted wig wag solenoid connectors but I don't know much else.

I'm looking for a 91769 hose that goes from the pump to the waterfall filter on a '61 Kenmore. Of course it broke at the pre-formed bend where it attaches to the filter housing. Any suggestions are appreciated!! Thank you all!!!!!!!!

How important are the wings on this thing. One broke off. This is the plastic baffle that fits into the tub grommet.

Can a guy use rubber washers instead of cork to mount the tub to the baseplate?

I need some expert opinions. Is this agitator shaft good enough to use? I've got a new basket drive and don't want to screw it up! Lol

if the pump and flywheel And motor turn it still sounds like a basket drive issue too me. It sounds as if it may be what's seized up.

Worn out or out of adjustment basket drive could be the problem.

Sorry for the poor description. There are two plug/stoppers on the bottom of the basket. (early 60's Kenmore) These are not crucial?

The original 22.5 volt 412 (Eveready or replacement)battery is still available online but expensive. Has anyone tried using two A23 12 volt batteries in place? Will the extra 1.5 volts hurt the remote?
