KDS-18 Water fill problem!

Not sure about that particular DW but inlet valves usually are a very generic part. You can fit a new one and use the plate of your old one. Just make sure of the direction and number of outlets and size. There are One Two or three ways valves with different size outlets pipes. (Usually...

    Hello, new uk member here

South Africa is Vintage speed queen land. Lots of 240v vintage Queens down there for some reasons. Some Brit living there could probably bring one home with them moving back in Britain That is also why you could find Australian machines in UK from time to time.

WP Belt drive spin clutch/tube question/issue

Yes John, I'm still planning to try moving, though it is not at all easy (almost impossible actually) and I feel like I will just waste money trying to. But I need to try anyway... I just need to organize things very well in order to lower a bit the high chances of it being only a waste of time...

kenmore visi-matic with spray rinsing wringer question

Same doubts Launderess expressed. I say that water doesn't penetrate clothes enough to rinse then wringing afterwards. Different is for TT's spinners and TL's, with TT's you usually had to fill the spinner all the way, plunge...

WP Belt drive spin clutch/tube question/issue

What causes it to get stuck like this anyway? You mentioned something in your video about dragging too much. Is that a reason?

WP Belt drive spin clutch/tube question/issue

Do you have a part number for the clutch components? At this point I was thinking about getting a new spin tube though, as both were not that good and I am more confident about putting a new spin tube for seal's sake too Though they seem impossible to be found

WP Belt drive spin clutch/tube question/issue

Thanks Sean!! So it is indeed meant to stay lifted during wash. I just do not understand how though, what keeps that up? Mine looks stuck like it is supposed to be that way. No way to lift that thing with...

WP Belt drive spin clutch/tube question/issue

Hi all. It is a couple days that my whirlpool is giving me a couple problems. I noticed it have a hard time kicking into spin. It takes a lot of time to reach the speed and sometimes does not at all. First thing that came to my mind was a slipping belt, though after inspecting and make sure...

looking for unscented/low scent powdered laundry detergents that produce few suds

They have the same kinds of gaskets elsewhere for way less. Anyway you may find Universal gaskets you can cut even in hardware or plumbing stores.

looking for unscented/low scent powdered laundry detergents that produce few suds

The size of the ring really depends on the size of your standpipe, so as you say that the adapter that came with the machine is too big for your pipe you need to chose something thinner that would fit and create a gasket. The gasket on Amazon that i have posted looks more thin than the Speed...

    "Hasp" Jars

looking for unscented/low scent powdered laundry detergents that produce few suds

The suds is because of the spin. Even the lowest foaming of detergents will produce this spin suds. All detergents here in Europe (where they are all low foam) do that too especially in spin drain machines vs neutral drain ones. I had this problem. As it increase the speed it whips the suds...
