Every front loader I've encountered does this - on a cycle that fills to a point where the water shows up on the door and would spill out if the door was open. - on a cycle with hot or extra-hot or sanitize But my experience is with Frigidaire and GE.

My oven is on 208v So it is slow. 0 to 350 in about 10 minutes. But like others I like to stabilize the temp before baking. The stove top is also 208v (of course) and it is slowwwwwww

I noticed there is a silver plate at the opening of the washer that says "IMPORTANT." Just curious what was so important. Does anyone have any experience with what the rest of the plate states?

I went to the GE website. I saw the new low end models. If you take a look with the door open it shows that there is the plastic striker vs a latch mechanism. So I don't think they are any different than the mid and higher end dishwashers where you pull the door to open and push the door to close.

I had the whirpool version of that portable. The thing could chew up glass (no kidding). Dishes always came out spotless. Mine had the silverware basket in the door (being whirlpool). The buttons and knobs are the same. I think the cycle names may be slightly different. Great machine. Always...

Only one I would recommend is the only one I have owned for over 30 years and never had to have any repairs.... Whirlpool!

Along with the 5 temp selections (already mentioned above) it is missing the dura-white tub.

The door opener Reminds me of whirlpool? Seeing the inside, definitely whirlpool built. Not sure if it was branded as something else however...

substitute switch? Perhaps another switch that fits similar models that may have less temps available could be used in place of an exact match? It would mean the template doesn't match but I'm guessing the wiring would hopefully match up.

Companies sometimes create satellite companies to develop a product and then when it is complete they bring them back into the parent company. Not sure if that's what's happening here. Looks like they may be using speed queen as an OEM provider and then adding to that for a finished product.

I hang my shirts to avoid shrinking. But I run them through the dryer on either lowest heat setting or air only to remove any lint. Sometimes it's not easy to see the lint that has accumulated.
