Car 54 with P&G Sponsor Tags

There were other shows I recall doing the same thing with sponsor tags. "Petticoat Junction" and The Dick Van Dyke Show", along with a short lived comedy on NBC in which Imogene Coca played a maid. The show was named "Grindl". I distinctly remember a commercial for Tide (which I wish I could...

Ariel, Cleans To The Heart Of The Wash

Do they still have to dosing balls for the liquid detergents in the European countries? Including a link to another Cheer...I mean Ariel commercial.

    Gain Flings

I wonder when Cheer and Era "Pods" will make their debut.

    We need more calgon!

The poor roolover might be due to an overloaded washer, gentle agitatior speed instead of regular or a combination of both.

    P&G again considers cheaper Tide

Will this also be available in powder form?

    What Causes This?

Thank You! I appreciate those who gave me ideas on what might have caused this problem. I'll try a few things and see if it can be eradicated, but if not, it looks like I'll have a few extra shirts with cut off sleeves to wear to the gym.

    Sears Ultra Plus

I saw Ultra Plus (orange box) at K Mart yesterday. Forgot to look at the price, but will do so today as I have to make a return trip.

    What Causes This?

Some More Pics I took the shirts and put them on hangers so maybe you all can get a clearer look at them. With the green shirt on the collar area, I know some of that may be attributed to sweat but not all. Supersuds, in thinking back to when this problem first started, I seem to remember...

    What Causes This?

I've noticed some of my t-shirts have taken on somewhat of a film (or whatever you want to call it). I've brought them home from the laundromat and tried re-rinsing them, but whatever it is on them isn't going away. I've used All, Sears Plus (orange box), and various brands of liquid...

Anybody give this stuff a go?

From The Same Website Scroll down a bit and you'll find the Lehmans Breathing Hand Washer. I found this kind of interesting (I see it as a pseudo manual Frigidaire Jet-Cone agitator). There's also videos of it on You Tube.

    White King

The only two water softeners I've used in the past were "Blue" Rain Drops and Calgon. Church and Dwight now manufacture Rain Drops (the word "Blue" was removed), but I've not had any luck in finding it. As for All, it's one that I use regularly (Surf is the other one I like). I'm using the...

    Powdered detergents clogging septic lines?

I remember my dad calling a psuedo Roto Rooter type company to come and unclog the drain pipe to the washer once in the mide-60's and again in the early 70's. I remember what "fun" it was to climb on top of the washer (Frigidaire), and when the water got to the top of the drain pipe, either...

washer enthusiasts: what's your choice of vacuum?

I have a Kenmore Whispertone that I bought 12 years ago and is still going strong. The POS Eureka I had that the Kenmore replaced died on me right in the middle of vacuuming my carpet. I don't know who manufactures Kenmore's today, but back then it was a revamped model made by Panasonic.

    Tried a generic powder today

Woolco Does anybody remember them? I think El Paso had two locations. I can't recall when they closed down.
