    new Whirlpool washer dryer UK

thanks for the replies... @fl1012, I LOVE the new styling of Whirlpool, it's got to be the best so far, yeah, the tinting of the door glass, but then I can't imagine it without the tinted glass. @foraloysius, yes those were horrible models, I don't think ANYONE bought them here in the UK, they...

    New Hotpoint Range

... I don't think it's. If they were trying to pay homeage to previous models, they would have made a black/white or brown/almond model. The WMAL621 seems to have hit the shops now, for the sum of £250, though it's not on the Hotpoint site yet, surely they should have done a brochure now...

    Bendix Washing Machine

... The machines looks great, they certainly don't make them like they used to. I'm sure I saw a Bendix in 'Open All Hours' when Arkright was trying to trick Nurse Gladys into thinking that he'd splashed out and got an automatic. One thing though, did Bendix make a washer dryer for this range...

    New Hotpoint Range

very smart looking machines! I was wondering what Hotpoint were going to do to redesign their machines after having the 'Aristonesque' door look for over a decade. Love that stainless steel ultima, looks much nicer in a kitchen compared to aluminium.

    new Whirlpool washer dryer UK

Whirlpool has made a new washer dryer for the UK, possibly due to the demise of Servis that inspired the previous machine. I know that this is a Smeg machine, but why does it look like a Haier?

    white knight sensordry.

... It's very basic, and can be bought for under 100quid. It's been a very popular model for a long time with similar built predecessors.

    Hotpoint wd61 washer dryer

... That's a good find! It may have ended up on the scrapheap, despite it working due to the owner upgrading and not bothering to put it on eBay, particularly if its drying cycle works (the reason why many washer dryers end up in the junkyard). The only issues are the door seal and lack of a...

    odd indesit...................

Looks quite good... Although it would be interesting as to what Indesit called that colour, and whether there was a matching dishwasher to it. I know it was from this range when Indesit started making machines in silver, I saw this machine on a TV programme years ago, it was in the background...

The integral washer dryer with many faces...

Darren, its the Hotpoint BWM20... The predecessor to the model above, had 3 dials (4 for the washer dryer BWD20), span at 1600, cost a fortune when it was sold in comet for £700 around 8-10 years ago. Whirlpool also comissioned a machine similar to this one. I meant to say it was also made by...

The integral washer dryer with many faces...

darren It was released with the wma series it was entirely dial controlled a bwm something. It was fast with 1600rpm,came out with the wma but,was replaced in 2003 with the bwm12 owing to the dreaded takeover. I know bsh did hotpoint dishwashers. I only wish bsh bought them, maybe theyd have...

    servis washing machine drum seams

i guess you're right zodawash and dex... But it was that pic above that crossed my mind when checking the welded drum, the machine my friend has spins at 1200, and balances quite well, aborting the spin if it won't balance. I guess it should be fine at 1200 (or 1000 as it is the default spin...

    servis washing machine drum seams

ohhhh i knew it... Thanks for the reply dex. After seeing that pic of that servis and the drum my friend has got is studded with those paddles. I'll tell him to reduce the spin speed to 800

    servis washing machine drum seams

thanks... I don't intend to! They're happy with it but for this. Since merloni plays/played a part in their production, could it have the same issue? I'd tell them to use slow spin perhaps.

    servis washing machine drum seams

I apologise in advance as I'm touching on that delicate topic of exploding drums, but I'm a bit concerned. A friend of mine has a servis washing machine, one of the final models before its demise in 2008. So I was looking inside the drum (the one with 4 paddles) and couldn't find a seam in the...

The integral washer dryer with many faces...

nrones... That smeg above is very similar to the latest set of built in washer dryers of bosch, siemens and whirlpool. On youtube someone went to currys and made videos on all the new washers. A built in whirlpool awz612 had exactly the same drum as the smeg above. Also the smegs display is...
