weird behavior of the fan on my Bosch Home Professional tumble dryer, i'm curious to learn about it

hello everyone!! i've been using my Bosch Home Professional WTX87EH0TR tumble dryer for almost a year now, and I kept noticing new thing that I didn't notice before. it always acts differently about this, and it's not something that it constantly does, which makes me wonder what's the logic and...

How can I clean the water tank of my Bosch AutoClean Home Professional tumble dryer? Why is it dirty?

replying to logixx Maybe AutoClean ones has a different kind of pump that is able to pump more fluff at the bottom of the device to the top? or maybe SelfCleaning Condenser devices has a filter in the pump that blocks fluff to go to the tank, but AutoClean ones doesn't have a pump filter. Just...

How can I clean the water tank of my Bosch AutoClean Home Professional tumble dryer? Why is it dirty?

replying to Logixx that's really interesting. why does mine has fluff and yours doesn't even though my device has more filters? do you not use softener? or is it because my device washes the back condenser too?

How can I clean the water tank of my Bosch AutoClean Home Professional tumble dryer? Why is it dirty?

replying to ozzie908 So did warm water with bleach help you with this problem? I tried cleaning it with almost boiling water before, but it didn't help, the bottom was still black with fluff. But I didn't try adding bleach though. Does bleach break the fluff pieces or something? I'll try...

How can I clean the water tank of my Bosch AutoClean Home Professional tumble dryer? Why is it dirty?

Hello everyone!! I bought a flagship Bosch dryer last year, an AutoClean one that washes both the evaporator and the condenser. It's Home Professional, WTX87EH0TR (these info aren't needed for this problem I know, but sharing for the curious ones). As y'all know, AutoClean devices doesn't have...

Bosch fine adjust - drying targets

an another question to henene4 Home Professional dryers has an additional fan that's right back at the TFT screen. I know this is probably there to the block the possible condensation reaching the screen, but is there any explanations of the fan on the service documents you posted? Why the...

Bosch fine adjust - drying targets

Thank you henene4. Do you think this is better than LG? Do you think this complex AutoClean system clean itselfs better than LG's Self Cleaning dryers? Do you know how those work too? Thank you.

Bosch fine adjust - drying targets

replying to henene4 wow, these were all so interesting to read, i'm shocked by the amount of interesting and detailed info. thank you so much. but i'm confused by two things. sorry for asking you a lot. firstly, the way it washes condenser in the back is way more complex than i thought. it...

Bosch fine adjust - drying targets

addition to my last reply and oh also, there's something i really wonder a lot. during the AutoCleaning phase, right after it flushed the condenser, sometimes the drum stops and wait for like 2-3 minutes until it continues. sometimes this doesn't happen and the drum continues to spin right...

Bosch fine adjust - drying targets

a question to henene4 Hi henene!! Glad we have informed people with access to service documents like you on the forum. I saw that you said if we tell the device model, you can give us information about it such as the temperatures, how the programs behaves and how the fan works, etc. I really...

A question to BSH dryer enthusiasts, especially to henene4 since he's really knowledgeable

Forgot to add, adding to my last reply That back condenser washing system doesn't exist on even newer Series 8's so it's special to AutoClean devices for some reason. They probably added this because there's more chance that dust can go there with this system, so they added a more detailed and...

A question to BSH dryer enthusiasts, especially to henene4 since he's really knowledgeable

Replying to henene4 Thank you so much for your detailed reply, it's sad that they will never get the reverse then. But I kinda expected this result. But by the way, AutoClean ones has a really big difference so it's not totally the same base. They have a different water motor and additional...

A question to BSH dryer enthusiasts, especially to henene4 since he's really knowledgeable

I have a question i'm wondering about modern Bosch / Siemens dryers. As y'all know, new Series 8 dryers with the new design can reverse on the bedlinen cycle during the whole program. Here's an example video of them reversing: So my question is, does this device has any new motors or...

BSH dryers are one of the most popular ones in the world even though they're not liked here. Why ?

Replying to Mrlaundry101 I was actually going to get a Miele instead of this, but I just can't stand their loud clock ticking noise that their sensor makes. I see from people that even if you replace it the noise comebacks after few months, and I absolutely hate noises like that so I didn't get it.

BSH dryers are one of the most popular ones in the world even though they're not liked here. Why ?

Replying to henene4 Thank you for your insights @henene4 , it was definitely so interesting to read this. I also can't believe they went this long without a reversing function yeah. And even on new models I think they only reverse on 1 program, they're still so stubborn about it for some...

BSH dryers are one of the most popular ones in the world even though they're not liked here. Why ?

Bosch / Siemens dryers are not liked much in this forum because of their: lacking reversing drum function, lack of an inverter compressor and apparently higher dryer temps (haven't checked this myself, mine is a+++ so maybe it's better) but still, they're still the number 1 brand for tumble...
