Gut Wrenching Story!
In the middle of it, after reading about those beautiful old machines being scrapped, I was sick, and sorry I had read it. I am so glad that the story had a happy ending!

I am going to be outfitting a 1955 bus for RV use, and want to keep everything as period correct as possible. I always imagined that one of these would be close enough for a MW oven. :)

I presume that these run at the lower frequency of, what was it, 900 megacycles or thereabouts?

I tend to get unrealistic sometimes about this old stuff. Definitely better to save it from the scrappers even if only for parts to get others going. I would imagine that a water cooled magnetron has been unavailable for quite some time!

Got the Whirlpool washer at home back in service, thanks to your help.
And now the Kenmore dryer at the care home needs a fuse. The schematic does not show the part number for it though. Anybody have that information handy?
